How about a superfood salad?

This simple salad combines superfoods, creating a very powerful nutrient boost that satisfies and keeps energy levels up. You might want to make larger batches to keep it on hand for when you get hungry, or for when you need that perfect, salubrious snack.

Serving size: 1 cup, makes approx. 2 cups

Total prep time: 5 minutes

Any other specific prep time: 30 minutes to chill

Ingredients

  • Package of organic broccoli slaw (or you can make your own by
    shredding broccoli stalks, carrots and red cabbage)
  • 1 tbsp. Hawaiian Spirulina
  • 1 tsp. cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Directions

    Mix all ingredients together in a serving bowl. Chill for 30 minutes
    or longer and serve. Garnish with cherry tomatoes.
