Renegade Health Favorite Shows: Charlotte Gerson Tells All

One of my favorite interviews of all time is this one…

I’ve spoken to Charlotte Gerson at least 3-4 times in the past few years and each time I ask her to tell this story about her father.

I could listen to it 100 times.

Here it is…

Here are my thoughts…

1. When you truly heal, the body heals everything.

This quote sums up the entire Gerson Therapy. Cancer isn’t something that you “just” target. It’s an entire body healing process – the epitome of work holistic.

2. I can listen to her tell these stories forever.

Like I said in the beginning, I could listen to this story 100 times. Get me a campfire and some raw food, organic S’mores (anyone have a recipe for this?) and I’m good to go with story-time with Charlotte anytime.

3. Flax seed oil?

The flax seed information in this video fascinates me. I wonder if it’s the estrogenic effect of flax that help. I also would like to see further study to see if this still holds up since Dr. Max Gerson’s experiments.

4. Charlotte turns 90 in 2012!

I’m a big proponent of learning from people who have experienced a long and vibrant life – not just those who talk about it.

Charlotte is a turning 90 years old next year. She stands tall, strong and vibrant. As far as I know, she still drives herself to Mexico at least once a week to talk to the patients there. I can only hope that I’ll be in that shape at her age.

It almost reminds me of the Meg Ryan “I’ll have what she’s having” moment – minus the context of the movie, LOL!

I want to know your thoughts: What do you think about this story? Would you like to hear it in person with Charlotte?

Live Awesome!

He started seriously researching personal and preventative natural health therapies in 2002 when he was struck with the reality that cancer ran deep in his family and if he didn’t change the way he was living — he might go down that same path. Since then, he’s written and edited 6 books on the subject of natural health, diet and fitness. During this time, he’s constantly been humbled by what experts claim they know and what actually is true. This has led him to experiment with many diets and protocols — including vegan, raw food, fasting, medical treatments and more — to find out what is myth and what really works in the real world.

Kevin has also traveled around the world searching for the best protocols, foods, medicines and clinics around and bringing them to the readers of his blog — which is one of the most widely read natural health blogs in the world with hundreds of thousands of visitors a month from over 150 countries around the world.

Yes, I have heard of it and from what they say many people get good results. Food really is one of the most powerful medicines for most of what ails you. I feel very connected to Charlotte Gerson and happy everytime I hear her speak.

  2. Angelie says:

Charlotte Gerson is incredibly inspiring to me!! I am studying the Gerson Therapy right now to help my dad who has cancer. Thank you so much for posting this video!

  3. Oleander says:

Someone close to my family was diagnosed with lung cancer, but rather than going down the conventional therapy route, immediately on researching, spent time and large amounts of money flying to spend time at a Gerson clinic in America. (twice) This treatment was also totally followed up in UK, consistently over the remainder of her life , she was in her fifties,(one year) but to no avail. The cancer spread to brain and bone and she died.

  4. Bobbi says:

We were privileged to meet Charlotte 1ast December at Clinica Nutrucion & Vida in Tijuana (the facility that practices Gerson Therapy). At that time, and hopefully now still, she rounded weekly with the physician to each patient’s quarters, encouraging discussion and questions.

She is very motivational and a wonderful example herself that practicing Gerson Therapy can produce marvelous results. We all need to be continually encouraged on our path, and I too, like Kevin, am benefited whenever I hear Charlotte.

  5. Velda says:

Agreed, Kevin. I could spend a lot of time listening to Charlotte Gerson. She is an amazing lady!!

Great interview Kevin. I am very inspired by Charlotte Gerson too. I am a vegan and know i really need the omega 3,6 and 9. EPA and DHA. If I use Flax will I be missing something that Fish oil has that Flax doesn’t?
Can you recommend a flax oil? I saw one in the fridge at my local co-op that began with a U but I don’t remember the name. Perhaps just getting fresh flax seeds and then using a coffee grinder may be best. I hear they need to be ground to work.

I saw the movie the gerson miracle. This inspires me to eat raw more often. Boy if eating the egg or other fats can make it grow then perhaps healthy people shouldn’t eat that.

I think the biggest thing for vegans or raw eaters is to make sure they get all the nutrients, like Fatty acids, all the amino acids. I hear that quinoa is a complete protein and has all the amino acids. Perhaps that should be a staple in the american diet.
