Rene is a Registered Nurse and an advanced practitioner of health through diet, nutrition, and exercise.

Rene’s personal quest for optimal health began when working as a Nurse for many years, she suddenly found herself with a rare, incurable auto-immune disease called Mastocytosis.

When she realized there was nothing the medical world could do to help her, except for prescribing numerous medications to help relieve the symptoms (and in the process causing more symptoms), she started searching for a better path.

Her journey to wellness has taken her across the United States, from California to Florida. At the Optimum Health Institute in San Diego, Rene first witnessed how wholesome, natural, organic foods could restore health.

Settling in West Palm Beach, Florida, Rene founded a company devoted to making these healing dishes tasty and easy to prepare. Because of her student’s persistence, she compiled these recipes into a book, Transitioning to Living Cuisine. The book was distributed locally to great acclaim touching and changing many lives!

Rene’s trust in the healing ability of raw food has helped her escape the clutches of a merciless disease and recognize each day as a very special gift. Rene teaches nutrition and cooking classes at Nutrition Smart Organic Supermarket, in South Florida schools, in her home and in her student’s homes.

She is ready to help you on your journey to optimum wellness. Rene believes that everyone should have the opportunity to experience maximum health in their lifetime!
