Who is Daniel Vitalis and what is chaga?
(Pronounced cha - gah… just like cha-cha-cha!)
You’re about to find out…
I’ve known Daniel for a few months now and really have gotten into the message he’s putting out. It’s pretty straight forward and he’s an intense dude, so when I got a chance to grab him during the Best Day Ever event, I was psyched.
Daniel has a big chunk of chaga he wants to show you, so take a look…
Your question of the day: Have you tried chaga before or any other tree mushroom?

That looks like a burl off a redwood tree. My husband and I spent a week in the beautiful Redwood State Park in Orick CA and that looks just like the burls that strat going off the sides of the tree. I will have to research what a birch tree looks like and where they are locally.
Hey there! Have seen this mushroom via Avocado at the Canada retreat and Raw Spirit Fest, and probably out in the woods before knowing what it was…what a great treasure… Have already signed up for the call with Daniel, he is Merlin reincarnate! We are all so fortunate to be connected in these times, thank you for what you do, good to have some of BDE over this way, Blessings and hugs to you and Ann Marie…Maria
Thank you! I’ve recently did a painting about birch tree entities. I look forward to the tele-quest.
To answer the question of the day: I’ve seen many beautiful tree mushrooms.. I don’t recognize chaga, but will soon! My son has a special affinity for mushrooms and since he was a babe I’ve allowed him to eat whatever shrooms he found. Some he licked and left alone. Powerful they are and happy we are to see them!
The earth is calling.
p.s. my daughter and everyone else loves your end credits music, it gets ya goin!
no
I haven’t seen one, but hey - we’ve got a birch tree in our yard. I’d better have a better look!
I’m off to Daniel’s site. Thank you sincerely Kevin and Annmarie for bringing up this information. You’re a gift. *Ü*
no place 4 me to click & see the video like i’m usually able to, so i need to know if this is about chaga int’l where they say they use special water? if yes, then is it really any better than using alcohol to preserve? i have known about chaga for awhile now b/c it helps w/rosacea very well. i have that skin condition but it only took 2 weeks & no more rosacea. here is the website i have known about http://www.eartherbs.com/988808. which is better the one u talk about (that i can NOT see right now) or the one at eartherbs? thanx
i would also like to know which has the highest orac value chaga or the maqui fruit from patagonia? could u plz find out & tell me or u can’t compare? maybe u know how to find out? thanx 4 all your help. i want to take the strongest product being that i have so much wrong w/me. don’t want to take them both i’m on disability so can’t afford to spend so much.
Wow! What a mushroom! I can’t wait to find out more! I am moving to Minnesota soon!
I know that there are Birch trees there!
I want to help find some!
Thank-you!!!!
With Gratitude,
Jan (presently living BEST DAYS in Colorado!)
Awesome! He shared a lot of good information; I needed that information about tonic herbs being ok, since I’m learning about medical herbalism! Thanks!
In Colorado we don’t have Birch, but we have Aspen trees. Do chaga grow near Aspen? I have heard Birch and Aspen are related.
Why do yo many raw foodist have these swollen cheeks?
Wow! Great info! I feel like I’m learning new great stuff with your help everyday. If I didn’t find you, I would still be in the fog… In the fog of illness and unhappiness. Thank you, Kevin and Annmarie!
Ohmygosh, I LOVE this guy. More please, more.
? of Day: No, I haven’t tried chaga, but I sure am now! Hiking the woods in search of birch trees tomorrow.
Hey, Kevin, it’s interesting that you brought this up. I used to live in Siberia many years ago and saw chaga growing on birch trees many times. Everybody in Siberia knows that chaga has great healing properties. I’ve never tried it though, maybe I should when I go visit my parents over there..
My husband and I found one of these mushrooms while biking the Wauponsee Glacial Trail near Manhattan, IL in early April of this year. I had never seen one before and didn’t know what it was, but I made sure I took pictures. I was excited to find out about it on this episode with Daniel Vitalis.
I found Chaga growing on Yellow Birch trees. Usually older one which are harder to find in our area now but still possible. Many time they are way up high off the ground and difficult to get too. Birch trees are not a good climbing tree like a maples or oaks. Birches are not long live trees in general too. Care must be taken not to damage the tree. You actually have to saw it off like wood. It takes some muscle to harvest it. Its my understanding too that you have to find it on live trees. If the tree is dead its probably not something you’ll want to harvest.
When I gave my Russian friend some chaga she was amazed it was growing here. It was like I had given her one of the most valueable gifts.
Think about it’s connection to the ecology of the planet too. Over harvesting it may be like the Ginseng and Goldenseal. Both of which are endangered in the wild now.
