When you travel it’s certainly more difficult to stay on the healthy track. If we stayed at home all the time, it would certainly be a lot easier to stick to your diet… but the world is out there to be explored… so it would be a shame to not enjoy it!

Here are some healthy travel tips that I use to ease the stress over “what to eat” when I’m not at home.

When you’re finished watching, please add your own by clicking here and scrolling down to the bottom of the page!

Here is a short list of what I do when I travel:

Search online for local health food stores. WholeFoods is a good place to start. You can just search by zip code on their website: www.wholefoods.com.

Make a list of healthy restaurants… (raw, vegan, etc.) I’m not a big fan of raw gourmet, so I’d actually rather eat a cooked vegan meal that is balanced better than a raw mish-mash of heavy nuts and seeds. This list is essential, particularly if you’re going to a place where there’s little to eat. This will save you from stress… I promise.

Bring these key supplements: Green Powder, Senna (for constipation, Kyolic Aged Garlic Extract, Vitamin C, Sea Salt. (You can get the Green Powder at David Wolfe’s site www.Sunfood.com or if you like, you can use my affiliate link: click here

Bring my Rubix cube… can’t solve it, but who cares

IPod: loaded with Centerpointe relaxation tapes. That can be found at www.CenterPointe.com or (Click here – affiliate link)

Readmate: This is a great tool for speed reading. My friend has a whole course, but you might be able to get one here: www.KwikLearning.com

At least 4 books.

Rechargeable batteries!

That’s it for healthy travel… Of course there are more things like dried fruits and nuts, but these are the staples for mind and body.

What do you bring? Click here, scroll down to the bottom of the page and tell everyone your tips!
