His new nickname is Mr. Milk.

We the people of…

Alright, enough of that.

I know, I didn’t even make it more than 4 words before I scraped that silly “State of the Union” idea.

I have a few announcements and housekeeping things to chat about today and wanted to make it entertaining — I thought that might be a fun way to kick it all off.

I lost interest pretty quick. LOL!

Anyway, I still do want to give you the download on what’s going on over here — as it relates to you. I’m just going to do it in a much simpler way — just straightforward with no politician double speak.

In this announcement, (1) I have a follow up on the slogan contest that we ran — it seems — oh so long ago, (2) some details about the status of the new site, (3) the state of our new coaching club, (4) and — of course — some updates on Hudson Cole.

Let’s get into it…

1. The $150 Worth of Free Stuff Contest Winners are…

Coming soon…

I know it’s anticlimactic, but it’s the truth.

Right before Hudson was born I asked you to contribute your ideas for a logo and a slogan. I had no idea that I’d get so many.

But we did, and I’m thankful for it.

We did decide on a new slogan based on your advice as well as what my gut felt was right.

So, I what I still need to do is go back and look at the submissions again to see how many people contributed close to what we came up with and figure out a fair way to compensate everyone.

My idea now is that the closest will win the grand prize of $150 worth of Renegade Health products, then I’ll give a handful of people who were pretty close a coupon for a smaller amount.

I think that’s pretty fair.

I’ll be able to announce this next week, so stay tuned. It may be you!

2. The new site was supposed to be up, but…

I changed my mind.

I completely, 100% decided to redesign it. On Monday.

I know it may sound crazy, but over the weekend, I finished reading the Steve Jobs biography.

When I went back to the site to look it over with my new, Steve-Jobs-ish glasses, I decided to trash it.

It wasn’t as easy to use as I thought it would be. I was cramming in to much stuff.

So now, with new instructions, Suzanne is at it again — severely modifying what we had already designed and coded.

Yes, extra money was spent.

Yes, extra time is being taken.

But I truly hope that you will appreciate what we’re putting together for you. The new site will be easier to search, to read, to share, and to comment.

Eventually, we’ll have a totally remodeled store as well, but that’s still a few months down the road.

3. With the new site comes a new Inner Circle.

Some of you don’t even know about our Inner Circle program. It’s an awesome service that we provide for a select group of Renegade Heath readers — for a small fee.

We’ve been attempting to remodel it and re-release the program since last July. Since then, we’ve fired a management team, rebuilt our business from the inside, and had about 3-4 stop and go development issues with it (one was that the software we were going to use, just didn’t cut it.)

So now, when the new site is released, we’ll also release this new Inner Circle — which will be named Coaching Club, since that’s what it really is.

Basically, you’ll be able to get on the phone with me every week and ask whatever questions you like, chat with other members, and have a weekly support group that moves you toward your health goals.

And I can’t tell you the price now, but it’s insanely low for the value. Think less than a Kombucha and a bag of kale chips.

I’ll keep you posted about this as we get closer, but I wanted to let you know that it’s coming and I want you to be a part of it with us.

4. Finally, and update on Hudson…

You saw the pic at the top. He’s awesome. Alert, cooing, strong. Annmarie is doing great. She’s basically taken at least 3 months off and we’ve given her responsibilities over to our team here.

Now, her only responsibility is to make sure the baby eats and grows.

It sounds simple, but if you’re a mom or a dad, you know how deceiving the “sound of it” can be.

As for sleep, I think we’ve actually found a pattern that works. Ann will feed him at night around 8:00, then I’ll take him when she’s done so she can sleep — I’ll sit in the other room and read. At about 10:30-11:00, he’ll be hungry again and I’ll take him to her. She’ll keep him in bed until about 5:00 (sleeping or feeding), and I’ll either sleep in the bedroom on the pull out — since his noises wake me up — or on the couch in the other room. Finally, I’ll take him until about 8:00, so she can sleep longer. She will also take a nap or two during the day to catch up with the rest.

It’s not perfect, but we both are in good spirits and hardly grumpy (I’m usually the one who is if I don’t sleep.)

I know there are going to be 1000’s of more challenges, but at least for now, we’ve got this one down. (And yes, I know it could change tomorrow, LOL!)

Anyway, that’s it for me!

This state of the nation address is over. I just wanted you to know that we’re still thinking of you, still working hard for you and making sure you have the best experience possible with us.

We’re not perfect, but every day we’re working to be better.

Your question of the day: What else do you want to see from Renegade Health?

Live Awesome!

Kevin Gianni is a health author, activist and blogger. He started seriously researching personal and preventative natural health therapies in 2002 when he was struck with the reality that cancer ran deep in his family and if he didn’t change the way he was living — he might go down that same path. Since then, he’s written and edited 6 books on the subject of natural health, diet and fitness. During this time, he’s constantly been humbled by what experts claim they know and what actually is true. This has led him to experiment with many diets and protocols — including vegan, raw food, fasting, medical treatments and more — to find out what is myth and what really works in the real world.

Kevin has also traveled around the world searching for the best protocols, foods, medicines and clinics around and bringing them to the readers of his blog — which is one of the most widely read natural health blogs in the world with hundreds of thousands of visitors a month from over 150 countries around the world.

or is ust sitting at the lake watching the ducs maybe a more meditative and realy balanced lifestyle.

somewhere i read. happyness is in western society more and more linked to loneylness. cause we have to buy so much and protect ourself so much with products supplement or just fruit like on a 801010 diet.
    or whatever.

to get our personal happynessin western society we need lonelynees.

please overread or include and intergrate spelling and grammar highlights.

just to go work we drive seperate home. we are seperate. just in oposite in other ocunttries people be in comunity together happy.

and one point the missing points of the WAPF abd of weston price.

    its comunity and work.
people workded hard to also get rid of all the fats they eat.
does anyone in weston price book looks like the leaders of the wapf foundation.

and also they had a close comunity. being together and a special form of care and bleief and fairy taill.

why is this all gone. and what is the need now for nature wilderness protection, traditional protection and also what are the chances in the change. so people get more furits and tropical variety thorugh the new supermarkets. also they get addicted to food which makes the ill. i thin there is a lot topics with a interesting ocnflict which is nice to point out. and which has a international setting rather a us based.

  21. jackie says:

I think you’re doing a great job. The only challenge for me is trying to read it all. I’d prefer less frequent emails, or less things to click on; sometimes it’s just too much and I have to skip reading or clicking. It’d be less work for you, meaning more time to be with Hudson, and we’d be more able to read everything; a win-win.

Hudson is adorable; so happy for you all.

  22. Gabrielle says:

WOW< what an amazing beautiful little creature he is….!!! those eyes….what do they see that I forgot to see? Blessings for the 3 of you!

Thank you Kevin for your openness and honesty when searching for greater health. We need people like you. By: Greg Laurie from Harvest America:

The Bible tells us about a revival that broke out during the days of the prophet Jonah when he preached to Nineveh. The revival started among the people and ultimately affected the king, who also joined in. Sometimes we might think that electing a new president or creating a new law will bring a sense of revival in our nation. But revival needs to start with God’s people. We need to wake up to what it means to be real followers of Jesus Christ.

Revival is a work of the Holy Spirit; it’s not something we can make happen. Revival is God’s responsibility. It’s what God does for us. But listen to this: Evangelism is what we do for God. Preaching the gospel is our responsibility. Christ commissioned us to go into the world and spread the Good News.

So revival is important, and we should pray for an awakening in our country where Americans turn back to God—not whatever they think God is, but the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The God of the Bible. The God that loved us so much He sent Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins and rise again from the dead. America needs to turn back to the Lord again, and we should be praying for that, but in the meantime, we should be busy about the work that He has given to us.

We cannot make a revival happen, but we can make evangelism happen. We can start those conversations. We can share the love of Christ. We can invite friends to participate in Harvest America. So let’s pray for God to do a great work of revival in our country, but let’s do our part. Let’s fulfill the Great Commission together.

Tell me what you think about the video posted on the page. May God Bless.

LOL – I’m getting through the Steve Jobs 20 disc cds I borrowed from the public library during my commute time. Design is important,as well as a little bit of good karma. He won the exterior planes of consciousness, but, whoa to the future karma he’ll have to work out with those he caused pain to. You guys rock – I’m sure you will be successful with your new site: especially with the ingredients he lacked – love, warmth, compassion, and kindness.

  29. Dee says:

Cute baby. I miss the videos.

  30. olga says:

Mr.Milk adorable! Lord bless him and his parents! Olga

  31. Velda says:

Hudson is adorable. He looks so alert for his young age. You guys are doing a great job. Matt and Angela Monarch put pictures of their little girl up also – and videos (yes,VIDEOS – remember those LOL). She is a doll. Thank you for including updates on him.

  32. suz says:

I just finished Steve Jobs biography too and agree there is beauty in simplicity and success in user friendliness. I still question why he did not go to the Gerson clinic for treatment. He was already a health nut, experimenting with fasting, vegan and vegetarian diets…

My first impression was ET also, what an adorable baby, congratulations!

  33. Jillian says:

I am very happy to see that great business people like you an AnnMarie are also going through the same infrastructure and website issues! Sometimes it is easy to feel, as a business owner, that you are doing everything wrong and that everyone else knows something you don’t! Perhaps you should also have a business owner’s inner circle…LOL…not to make your head spin with all that you are already handling.

  34. Karen says:

I’d love to see an interview with Piter Caizer, aka the Wildgrass Messiah. He’s based in Vilcabamba, Ecuador, but is visiting England at the moment. I was lucky enough to join him recently for some wild foraging.

He has a great knowledge of wild grasses, and other wild edibles, and makes the most delicious juices with them.

He has an abundance of uplifting energy and infectious enthusiasm too! Here are a couple of his videos:

An interview with him would be great! Thank you!
