question for David Wolf
Is raw chocolate valuable for hair growth? Or does it reduce hair growth?
Hi Kevin!
Here’s a question I was wondering about that you can direct to Cherie Soria or her husband Dan Ladermann…
My kids love to eat almonds, cashews, pumpkin seeds, etc… I know it’s more easily digested once they’ve been soaked, but the kids don’t want wet nuts/seeds…so, should I soak, then dehydrate & where would I store them? Help!??! Thanks!
~Liz
could you ask victoria boutenko what her son ate when he had a broken bone? still struggling with a broken wrist. thanks so much.
jenny
Hi Kevin,
This could be for anyone, Are there any books out there that are for kids? I’ve been trying to find easy to do reciepies for kids to teens.
Have a safe and great time! I can’t wait till you both get back and share your great time!
We love your videos!
Ask Cousens why did Charles Levy die at the tree of life. Why did he not call the local services in Patagonia.
And why did he have his MD license revoked.
Why did he take the Hungarian lady off medication to cure her diabetes. She spend 2 years of her salary at the tree $10,000. She left to go back home and thinks all Americans are crazy .

Kevin,
I have a question regarding fruits. Since me and my fiance are much bigger fans of fruits rather than vegetables, can eating a lot of fruits cause us to have excess sugar? Also, do you typically get more nutrients from juicing, blending or by eating whole vegetables/fruits? Any other suggestions with regards to this question would be of utmost help.

Hi kevin,
My question is regarding hypothyrodism.
Is there any special diete, herbs or exercise to reverse hypothyrodism?
Regards,
Sal
Kevin!
This is perfect timing. I need something answered from Doug Graham. I like to experiment with my diet, but I like to have tests that show how well the diet works. Most of the time, blood tests can show all that I need to know. (Results from cooked to raw were DRASTIC improvements!)
Other than watching for changes in triglycerides, however, what’s the best way to show that his 80/10/10 program has (or hasn’t–as I said, I’m just experimenting) improved my health from a high fat raw diet?
On high fat raw, my blood test results are fine. What can I test for to show a positive change between the high fat raw and the 80/10/10 raw?
Also, I have insulin resistance so if he has any special advice for 80/10/10 and IR that would be nice to know. I know his theory about the fat causing the problem with the insulin spikes, so I’m down to 10% or less fat. Anything else he recommends?
Thanks and have lots of fun!!! I’m looking forward to hearing all about it when you and Annmarie get back!
Lots of love to you,
Wendi
XOXOXO
For Gabriel Cousens: I have just broken my little toe. What can I do to help facilitate the healing process. I’m going to Sedona and hoping to be on the road to recovery by then!
HI!!
I am reading Donna Gates book, Body Ecology, where she talks about candida and how bad fruit is for that condition. I’d love to know what Doug Graham says about that.
Thank you Kevin!
Lynn
Will you be at the Raw Food Festival in Fort Bragg on Saturday? I live in Santa Rosa and will be driving up with two RAW FOOD friends and would LOVE to meet you and Annmarie..

Kevin, I don’t know which expert to ask, but I will guess it is probably you! So here goes. . . I am so confused. I am about 50 pounds overweight and have comitted (finally) myself to at least 2 green smoothies as meal replacements a day. I just found out that I love them!!! (am saving for a hig performance blender as we speak) My question is that I have heard and read so many different views about mixing fruit and veggies AND that greens are not veggies and can be mixed with anything AND carrots can be mised with fruit AND apples can be mixed with veggies, etc. . . Please clear this up or have the correct expert do it. Thanks in advance from the big girl getting smaller and smaller!! p.s. I just signed up for the call tomorrow (raw foods and weight loss) I can’t wait!!
OK.. This is a challenge! We need to change not only the health of the world but have to survive the upcoming collapse of the American Empire. Food will become scarce in short order. What kinds of seeds and food do I hoard right now that will carry me and my hubby (no children) through the horrors that face you and I as Americans? Our survival will depend upon growing our own food…. I ask for direction which is a plea for a method of survival! Or do we want to survive the New World Order, the One World Government, be marked with the Beast and live under complete slavery under a the North American Union and being microchipped? We are dealing with our own American Government being total facism… how do we survive?
Kevin:
I see someone else has already asked my question regarding fruit and vegetables mixed.
I have been enjoying green smoothies with fruit. Now that I have read from a couple of people not to mix fruit with anything, I am stumped again about a quick breakfast and getting the greens without fruit? Help I don’t know which expert would have the definitive answer on that question so ask who you think is the most knowledgeable.
Thanks,
OH By the way>Love you show!!!

Hi Kevin,
I have fibrous dysplasia in the right hip and
had corrective surgery, because the hip broke.
What is the best thing I can do or take for
fibrous dysplasia.
Thank you,
Crow
I would like you to ask Gabriel Cousens about the future study that he mentioned was currently being organized that was submitted for funding by federal program to include a large group of people. Could you find out how a person interested in participating in this study can find out more about the selection process. Would they be opening it up to people residing outside of Arizona?
Have a wonderful fact finding trip.
Hi Kevin,
Not sure who to ask, but I have heard (read)
that many greens have oxalic acid in them and that too many can cause kidney stones. I’m having second thoughts on the green smoothies!
Thanks!
Please ask Cherie Sorie how she is so consistently organized & prepared - it’s amazing. Please ask her also what she eats on a typical day - or if she could mention a few variations of her typical diet including any superfoods/supplements.
And if he’s there, please ask that guy from Tree of Life who ran 100 miles what he eats in a typical day or better, a typical week. I just want to see where I might be going wrong. But since I’m also an endurance athlete (tho my races are 74 miles short of his), I need to adequately fuel with the most nutrient-dense food.
Ask anyone you can:
1) What do you eat on a typical day or week?
2) What are you putting in your smoothie these days?
Thank you, Kevin & AnnMarie
My inquiry is to the group as a whole.
Times are getting harder, and natural health and raw food is for sure the way to go. But everywhere we look answers to health we can trust are getting harder to find.
It seems the time is coming when, the answers to natural health will all become inner circle “SECRETS FOR SALE”!
The techniques seem to be similar to what is going on with conventional medicine (where I find little I can trust), in that we have much to be concerned about trusting where we get our health information from, to the point that we may only feel safe trusting that which is “so great”, that it comes with a price.
In the article linked below you may see several parallels to where the information we once could easily get in good faith now has so many new conditions involved we must know we’re “connected” personally to real experts.
My question: Is “the art of Branding a condition” methodology, being applied to selling natural health information?
(I found the link oddly enough on a natural health site)
I read this frightening but fascinating article:
“The art of branding a condition”
http://www.allbusiness.com/company-activities-management/product-management-branding/10606481-1.html
Could anyone give the link where i could buy liposome methylcobalamin.
ta
Hi Kevin,
Yes, I am one of the lurkers. Now I have more than one question. I enjoy your videos.
Which is the best book to buy for recipes ?
Especially for protein foods. Nuts, grains etc. Otherwise we revert to meat and cooked foods to have with our salad.
Do you sprout?
Also in reference to Gail’s question. What can we store long term that is good on this diet ? And for how long can we store it ?
I am digging up lawn and planting vegies, especially greens. The only way to have uncontaminated vegies in my area. I am loving it and having some success.
Cheers
Helen
Hi
I’ve been unable to find any research about liposomal (liposome) methylcobalamin, I’ve check out pubmed & other research resources, but with no luck, if you could you point me to the research you’ve reviewed, then that would be great.
All the best,
Pete
Hi Kevin, I got a question for David Wolfe…
I got a warning that chocolate is bad for the liver (I got a liver problem). I’m only eating raw cacaobeans, which I really love… is this bad for the liver as well? It doesn’t feel bad at all eating them…
Love,
Monic
Hi Kevin,
Great and informative video!!
I would like to ask the panel of experts
about kinesiology is it a reliable tool for energy testing and are any of the panel familiar with it and can it be used in food and nutrition.
If we all have a unique energy make up making
global claims about what good and bad has to
be down to an individual ability to get as
much info on themselves at the energetic level
-do the panel agree?
Hi Kevin, My question is to the whole panel, I have been doing the raw diet(even without grains unless I sprout them) for three months now. I feel because I still have no relief of gout and other things that I am not absorbing nutrients. How and what can I do to be able to absorb them more. And I would like to know from Victoria Boutenko how long it takes on green smoothies to keep your hair from goin gray. And Kevin I hope you answer these on your show as I couldn’t sign up for upcoming Expo.
Not sure who’s the best person to ask but I have some concerns about my knees. They make sickening grinding noises when I bend and I can feel the grinding going on in my knee joints if I put my hands over them. It doesn’t hurt but I’m worried because they shouldn’t do that!
What kind of specialist could I speak to to figure out what’s going on inside my knees? (my Doctor is no use) Also, are there any general things that would help, without knowing exactly what the problem is? I have tried glucosamine to no avail and am now starting on marine phytoplankton for bioavailable omega 3’s.
Hi,
I have a question for Gabriel Cousens.
I have a friend that has type II diabetes. And he has lost quite a bit of weight and changed his eating habits greatly. But he now has neuropathy in his feet. I don’t know if thats from the diabetes or caused by medication. I would like to know if Gabriel has any advice on dealing with neuropathy.
Thanks.
Hi Kevin,
My question to ask everybody is, I’m a young healthy 53 and am starting to get more gray hair. Why is that and how can I stop it? I do not want to use dyes but will do what ever I need to do to keep my hair brown.
Many blessings for an abundant life, lived to the fullest!
Elene
Quinoa is great stuff, tho’ at first it can be “different”. You forgot to mention that quinoa absolutely needs to be rinsed WELL before cooking. This is very important to remove the toxic(but naturally occuring) bitter coating called saponin.
For Dr. Doug Graham: My son is planning on hiking the Appalachian Trail — what foods can I pack for him that are light and full of nutrition? He’s leaving Labor Day weekend for Maine (but I can mail him packages) Thank you! Mary S
Hey Kevin,
great show as always!
I would like to ask any of the experts if someone with thyroid problems should stay away from raw broccoli, cabbage and all the other veggies that usually are not good for the thyroid. I have Hashimotos, which is a autoimmune disease and it effects my thyroid. I do love cabbage and kale though, so would love to learn if I can eat those at liberty.
Thank you and have fun at the expo.
Is Kosher salt as good for you as Celtic or Himalayan salt?
Thanks for all you do for us out here,
Deanna
Ok - another lurker here . . . wondering about green smoothies vs. green juices. I know both are beneficial - is one more preferred over the other? Also - how long can one go just on green smoothies? Sometimes I feel like that is all I want for days . . . Thanks for all you do - enjoy your show! Much peace, Pamela
I need help…currently I am on the “SAD” but do watch what I eat and manage fat intake etc. I have read a lot on raw food lately and want to transition…this may sound stupid, but I am worried about getting fat! I am currently 5′9″ and weigh about 120#…I see so many recipes w/2 cups of cashews etc…with all the nuts and tahini I am worried this diet will make me fat (even though I realize that you guys doing the diet are not fat)…how do you transition without a weight gain? If I am weaning off SAD but also eating raw foods I feel I will gain weight.
thanks in advance…love your you-tube!!
Julie
a bag or plastic container or something. The purpose is to absorb the moisture from the product.
My question is, can you use those, if you pulled them out of a food product, in your own dried food containers, like say in your jar of dehydrated crackers?
Things that make you go hmmmmm…..
Also, how do you do “raw food” in the winter? I live in Michigan. I’ve thought of taking some nice fresh dandelion greens and blending them in the VitaMix, then freezing them in ice cube trays for winter use. What would the enzyme/vitamin loss be?
Left first line off my previous comment…
Background: In aspirin, vitamins and other drugs, they always have a desiccant in either a bag or plastic container or something. The purpose is to absorb the moisture from the product.
Victoria Boutenko–I don’t have any blood sugar issues, but I am wondering how much fruit is too much fruit? Is it better to consume fruit after a work out in order to avoid sugar spikes?
How long were they raw before they noticed their body needing less food?
Thanks, Jessica
Hey! Can you please ask David Wolfe or anyone else who knows about skin, what is the best moisturiser to get rid of acne. Also, what are the best steps to take in general to get rid of acne. I dont think im eating anything im allergic too. I dont have any dairy or fried foods, what else can i do? What are the best things to use? Cheers Kev! Luke Mckeown
I’d like to know if Victoria Boutenko uses a pillow.
Victoria Boutenko- is it ok to freeze your fruit for green smoothies?
Kevin, thanks for all your daily help. I think this should be addressed to you. I juice and drink green smoothies daily that takes me up to dinner time. Is walking sufficient exercise or should I be using weights?(or what?) Rebounder? My weight is 122 and I’m 5′ but I know the importance of exercise. Does my age of 73 matter?
Thanks,Carole
Suggestion for a good source of Vitamin D for us in the dark NW winter?
(not D3!)
Do we get D if we are outside on cloudy winter days?
BLESSINGS!
I’m not sure which health expert to ask, but I want to know how to reverse high blood pressure naturally. My doctor wants to put me on high blood pressure meds, however I am exercising, have lost 30 lbs. so far with 30 to go, eat low sodium and a healthy diet, and take supplements. What else can I do to get to the root of the hypertension problem and address it naturally?
PS Love your Renegade Health Show! Thank you!
Hey Kevin,
This is great timing! I have a question for someone! I’m not sure who would be best to answer this question. One of my beloved customers was fruitarian throughout her pregnancy. Mostly 100% fruit but a few times through the pregnancy had some steamed veges.
Her daughter was fruitarian for the first two years of her life.
At the age of two her daughter showed symptoms of vitiligo. She is now 8 and it’s really effecting her confidence.
The daughter is now about 50% raw and that 50% is mostly fruit. She craves lemons and other sour fruits as well.
My customer and I would be very interested to hear of any advice from those in the know!
Thank you Kevin. You’re a legend!
Jennie
Ask Gabriel Cousins why he thinks cashews are a source of mycotoxins?
What makes them different from other nuts that he recommends?
Hi Kevin, Nice going there. Love your videos.
To answer Patricia J Allens query why Dr.
Cousens thinks cashews are a source of
mycotoxins? is that the doctor has mentioned in his book, SPIRITUAL NUTRITION that to extract cashew kernels from its outer cover,
the whole nut is heated to a very high
temperature which makes it a little dangerous to consume in large quantities, unless ofcourse if you can get raw variety, then
ofcourse the cashew nut would be safe but they are a little on the expensive side.
With warm wishes,
Sudhakar
