That was so sweet. I love the whole car interview idea, by the way.

I am inspired by the truth. We all hear a lot of ideas and theories floating around in the natural health world, but when I hear something that resonates with me as the truth, I become deeply inspired.

Wish I could have hung w/ you longer in Sedona….until we meet again.

    xo…Penni

Boundless energy, absence of pain, happiness from within, love of life and family. All the joys this earth has offer inspires me. The means to achieve all this is health, hence my quest began.

Children inspire me. The ones that haven’t been polluted by adult noise. nonsense, or normalcy. The ones that image a world that could be. Where possibilities are endless. Where the invisible is what is essential. And what is seen is but a tiny thread in the fabric of life. Children, all children of all species in all times. That’s where love begins. In the child that dwells in each one of us. Children inspire me. To be new again and to see the world with new eyes that look beyond. Way beyond a beginners mind. They are fresh, organic, raw, ripe, and ready to take on the world. Yes. That’s what inspires me. Children.

Reading a good book from inspirational author like Wayne Dyer, a good interview, anything from nature; a flower, a moonrise, the sound of a loon in the wilderness, events like raw spirit festival and you Kevin and Anne-Marie with your show.
Thanks for bringing us with you on your adventures.

    I am inspired by:

The universe and the love, wisdom and synchronicity that I experience each day.

Sharing my joys, knowledge, and gratitude with others.

The smiles, nods of understanding, and the sparkle of an epiphany or happiness in someone’s face.

The warmth of the love from another’s heart that comes from them being given compassion, kindness, understanding and love.

A big hug and a kiss.

The look of relief that is seen when a plan of hope is provided.

Being able to facilitate another individual’s progress towards achieving self-actualization.

Loved the show and loved RSF. Thank you all for being so inspirational!

    Love, Light, and Peace,
    Cilantro CACAO! (Cheryl) : )

Wow. Someone who has been described by you as ’scientific’ for whom Chemical Formulas are Too Scientific? This makes me feel uneasy. As a seeker of truth I have found the website of the CRS (calorie restriction society) http://www.calorierestriction.org - their aim is to practice CRON = calorie restriction with Optimum Nutrition for a healthier life and life extention. I have joined their mailing list. Most of the posts concern scientific research published in peer-reviewed journals. I’ve never been exposed to so much science in my life. Science is your friend.

    Knowledge inspires me

These things inspire me - Tennis (a whole lot), The Renegade Health show, interesting people, my 15 year old daughter, knowledge about food and what it does for the body, learning about how coconut oil can help your metabolism burn faster, going to Bible study with a bunch of women, reading a book and going to book club, working out with weights or aerobically, cleanliness everywhere, the weather and the whole earth and what is here truly inspires me, meeting people from all over the world while living in Singapore, living where no guns are allowed and traveling to remote places on Earth.

  21. Barbara on September 16, 2008 3:54 am

What inspires me ? I am inspired by helping others live a more Conscious Life… with regards to nutrition, spiritual beliefs, positive mind techniques, what car we drive, the personal care products we use with, the chemicals and toxins around us, the way we bring up our children, from breast feeding, avoiding vaccines, eating organic, the list can go on and on… I like waking people up and showing them that there is another way. They do not have to succumb to a life of disease and distress.

    Love and Light,

    Barbara.

“David Wolfe” and “science” don’t belong in the same sentence. He isn’t knowledgeable–he’s enthusiastic–but not scientifically knowledgeable. He uses a lot of pseudo-scientific ideas that wouldn’t stand up to analysis or to REAL science. He takes things out of context and contradicts himself. He’s not a geek; he’s a new ager. And the new agers will never admit that their silly pseudo-scientific theories are completely bunk. There are plenty of REAL scientific facts to back up the raw food diet; no need to make more up.

Thanks for being some of those people!

  26. micki on September 16, 2008 3:28 pm

    What inspires me? What doesn’t!!
I am inspired when I get up half an hour before sunrise for nice walk in the woods and then come over the rise just in time to see the sun peaking out from behind the hills across the valley, (I live in west Sonoma County California on the edge of the redwoods) or on those mornings when the dawn clouds are so brilliant as to be psychadelic like a Maxfield Parrish painting. Every day I’m awake and alive, I am SO grateful! and eating the Best Food Ever every day is the icing on the cake!

    Blessings,

Nothing inspires me more then good conversation such as the one Kevin, David and Ann Marie had in the car, and good food is also another inspiration. I am always enthused by a great meal. Here’s a delicious dessert that I found online and I tweaked it a little because I used a young coconut in the dessert. I hope you all try this one, its so delicious: http://www.recipezaar.com/rz.176070

Annmarie Calls David Wolfe a Geek

    The Renegade Health Show #140

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geek
… a person obsessed with intellectual pursuits for their own sake.

… a person who relates academic subjects to the real world outside of academic studies

… a person who has chosen concentration rather than conformity; one who passionately pursues skill (especially technical skill)

… persons have been labeled as or chosen to identify as physics geeks, mathematics geeks, engineering geeks

…Wolfe exhibits NONE of these qualities of excellence; rather the descriptor would be more accurate as fraud or charlatan.
…Wolfe is basically a salesman, preying on people who are less knowledgeable than he, and who are impressed by meaningless dropping of technical words in inappropriate contexts.

…To expose this manipulative rhetoric, I am writing a page that analyzes some of his more egregious misconceptions.

…Thanks to Gianni for inspiring this page. Kevin Gianni wants to spread the word of great health in a big way!

…So do I, and will help him with:
    http://www.ecologos.org/wolfe.htm

…This is a new page, being written NOW; check back often to watch the show.

That was a fun video. I giggled about Annmarie calling David a geek.

What inspires me most is LOVE.

It was great spending time with all of you, and I hope we can get together as a large group again very soon. I’m missing that fabulous connection that happens when so many truly conscious people get together in one place.

Lots of love to both of you!

    Wendi
    XOXOXO

p.s. To Laurie, who calls David Wolfe a fraud: David may be into building a business for himself, and maybe some find his methods tasteless. However, I have met him a few times and I can read people very well. He is a genuinely nice, loving person. In fact, I believe he is an empath and may not even realize it about himself. It would be nicer to say you don’t like what he does, rather than to attack him as an individual.

  34. marlene on September 17, 2008 5:20 pm

What inspires me is people who are happy, care about themselves, and others genuinely.

  35. Laurie on September 17, 2008 5:24 pm

    > I can read people very well.
—Apparently not; IF you could “read” me, you would know that I am not “attacking” anyone; I will, however, present a detailed analysis of his salesman trickery, and an exhaustive critique of his scientific misstatements propagated only to sell stuff.

    > ,,, may not even realize it about himself.
—There are many things he refuses to realize about himself.

    > It would be nicer to say you don’t like what he does, …
—This is not about “like”, it is about intellectual fraud.

    > … rather than to attack him as an individual.
—A critique is NOT an “attack”; “read” the difference.

  36. Lauren Wilczynski on September 17, 2008 6:26 pm

Wendi, Laurie was right to attack exactly what she attacked. She (and I) find David’s approach to be deceitful and misleading, and if he really knows as much as he claims he does, he should be well aware of this. The sum of his actions define what sort of a person he is…and I think the conclusions are more than obvious.

you guys inspire me. i have to watch your videos and listen to your phone interviews. guys like Mike Adams and David Wolfe and you I just can’t get enough of ya’ll thanks for being there for me your awesome! you too AnnMarie

  38. Kevin Gianni on September 17, 2008 10:22 pm

Alright… getting a little hot in here! ;-)

We’re here to speak our minds, so I let many comments go to be fair to everyone.

(Yes, even attacks against me… though we don’t get too many on the blog… some by email :-) )

The only thing I ask is that we don’t attack each other… only constructive criticism of ideas.

If there are accusations–particularly against a particular person–please be sure to lay them out in a well defined argument with substantiated facts… I think we’re all willing to listen to that and be influenced in a positive way.

    Thanks so much for sharing!

That’s my two cents… and to you all…

    DEBATE!!!

What inspires me? In regards to raw food David Wolfe’s work has been a major inspiration to me. I don’t begrudge him making a living certainly and he really does know his science. I heard that unfortunately there was someone at RSF who thought it was clever to call him a liar but this person had his own agenda of course. I don’t like that kind of negativity. I like the way David approaches things - with a superb sense of humor, a passion for living and a strong spiritual center. That is truly inspirational.

  42. Sunshine Boatright on September 20, 2008 4:20 pm

I for one am SO grateful David is a geek (in the scientific sense)! :) It has helped me in taking my son with autism raw, and seeing just how much certain foods (including cacao) have helped him! :D

What inspires me? My children, each and every day! J’s autism has taught me so much that I am now passing on to others. And now, finding out two of my children have scoliosis of the lower back, I have even more to be inspired by and to aspire too! :D

  43. Sunshine Boatright on September 20, 2008 4:30 pm

Before anyone attacks anyone else based on intelligence, they should make sure they used spell check before putting out their papers for the masses to see IMHO. :)

David Wolfe is a beautiful man. His parents must be so proud of him. He’s contributed so very much to our world in so many, many ways. My whole family and I love him, as do all our friends. G-d richly bless him always!
