Annmarie and I love Kris Carr…

Not like a little love, but a lot of love.

We were introduced to her by my great friend Nick Ortner from Tapping Solution fame. (You can hear him speak in the Healing Cancer World Summit 2012 here.)

Since then, we’ve gotten to know her and her work — starting a romance of sorts. LOL!

I’ve met a lot of people in the health industry and many of them are amazing, but we honestly don’t find we relate to some of them. I don’t know why. They do incredible work and touch the lives of people all around the globe, but it’s hard to imagine sitting around a kitchen table with them, drinking a green juice and joking about how nutty we are about health.

Kris is one of the rare exceptions who can bring it when it comes to the quality of her work as well as kick back and be lighthearted when appropriate (or inappropriate… LOL!)

You may remember that I shared her last ebook “Crazy Sexy Juices and Succulent Smoothies” with you a few months back because it was a fantastic resource that you could keep in your kitchen (or on your hard drive) for years.

Now she’s got something new that I’d like you check out that includes an opportunity get virtual cooking classes with Kris.

Before I share, I want to remind you that we carefully select what we share with you because we know you trust our judgement. In fact, we’ve even tightened up our recommendation rules and guidelines even more over the last year or so. Everything we share, I’ve personally vetted and would feel comfortable sharing it with my Mom. Yes, that’s how personal it gets. LOL!

So when I say that Kris’s new book “Crazy Sexy Kitchen” is awesome — know that my Mom will be getting a copy and we’ll be using it in her kitchen over the holidays.

So here it is…

Kris teamed up with chef extraordinaire Chad Sarno to create 150 plant based recipes that look and taste amazing. The book?

“Crazy Sexy Kitchen” (Of course.)

You can see some of them in the trailer for the book here…

(As a side note, I think having a trailer like this for a book is a lot of fun. Stay tuned. You might see it from us for our next project!)

Anyway, I don’t think I need to over do the gushing here. Maybe I already have…

But if you’d like some more ideas for healthy recipes that don’t taste or look like doggy mush, this is one of the best books I’ve seen to date.

P.S. You don’t have to be vegan to enjoy this book!

As you may or may not know, Kris is devoutly vegan, but this does not mean that you have to convert to eating only plants to enjoy this book.

He started seriously researching personal and preventative natural health therapies in 2002 when he was struck with the reality that cancer ran deep in his family and if he didn’t change the way he was living — he might go down that same path. Since then, he’s written and edited 6 books on the subject of natural health, diet and fitness. During this time, he’s constantly been humbled by what experts claim they know and what actually is true. This has led him to experiment with many diets and protocols — including vegan, raw food, fasting, medical treatments and more — to find out what is myth and what really works in the real world.

Kevin has also traveled around the world searching for the best protocols, foods, medicines and clinics around and bringing them to the readers of his blog RenegadeHealth.com — which is one of the most widely read natural health blogs in the world with hundreds of thousands of visitors a month from over 150 countries around the world.
