Kevin Gianni

Kevin Gianni is a health author, activist and blogger. He started seriously researching personal and preventative natural health therapies in 2002 when he was struck with the reality that cancer ran deep in his family and if he didn’t change the way he was living — he might go down that same path. Since then, he’s written and edited 6 books on the subject of natural health, diet and fitness. During this time, he’s constantly been humbled by what experts claim they know and what actually is true. This has led him to experiment with many diets and protocols — including vegan, raw food, fasting, medical treatments and more — to find out what is myth and what really works in the real world.

Kevin has also traveled around the world searching for the best protocols, foods, medicines and clinics around and bringing them to the readers of his blog — which is one of the most widely read natural health blogs in the world with hundreds of thousands of visitors a month from over 150 countries around the world.

You guys are great. I just got a hydrator, and I was not sure what to do. Watching your YouTube clips has been so helpful!
    Keep up the healthy work!

Thanks so much for the radio interviews – they’re great! An hour goes by so fast.

With regard to trans-dermal patches, what is the driver for the b12 you sell in the store? The only ingredients I saw listed were: methylcobalamin, folic acid, and medical grade hypoallergenic adhesive.

Is there some other chemical that’s not listed that makes it effective for getting into your bloodstream?

  3. Ivy says:

I was wondering about dehydrating vs. freezing. Also, I’m wondering what the difference is with raw filtered honey vs. raw strained (unfiltered) honey that still contains bee hairs, some wax and propolis. I was poor enough to only be able to strain my honey this year (since I’m also a beekeeper). I am hearing all sorts of feedback from people with autoimmune disease: specifically two people with arthritis and one with lymes disease have stated that their conditions improved for 3 to 6 hours after consuming the honey. I’m a nurse, and remain a skeptic about potential “cures” to progressive illness, but I’m seeing and believing the results.

I’m also wanting to ask the viewers/readers; have you tried “RAWKME” ice cream? It’s made with this type of honey, and it’s local to California North Bay. If you haven’t tried it, ask Whole Foods if they have it in stock. Usually they are out of stock since people of all walks of life and diet prefer this ice cream. There’s a huge demand for it, and a limited supply. It’s definitely worth the wait to have it ordered. Feel free to contact me if you have tried this ice cream and let me know if you have experienced any health benefits from the ingredients. It fits within the 80-10-10 nutrition lifestyle.

    Many Blessings to All

  4. Susanna Searle says:

Hi Kevin…….the ‘prison’ experiment re. healthy diet ( fresh fruits, vegs., wholegrains, nuts, no artificial additives, sugars, caffeine, etc ) verses traditional prison diet ( S.A.D. )…..has been done.
I remember a doco. about 20 years ago. The outcome conclusively proved the connection between diet and behaviour.
The prison population was placed on the ‘healthy’ diet and after a very short time the inmates displayed greater tolerance and respect towards each other with significantly reduced acts of aggression; greater concentration, alertness and desire to raise their own expectations of their relationships and life goals.
The governor of the prison was obviously a
    very progressive and enlightened humanitarian.
Unfortunately the program was not continued by the consequtive governors, as I remember, because of the higher cost of the diet.
Many thanks for your genuine care to share what has made a difference in your own life. You are a welcome addition to my bevy of ‘ cyber ‘ friends who contribute to my knowledge base / wisdom.
    With warm regards….Susanna ( Australia ).

  5. Enjoyed listening to Dr Doug Graham, thanks for sharing. I absolutely agree with the high fruit diet, and wondered if you had ever come across the book by Essie Hannibal called ‘I eat fruit’? She is about 86 yrs living in the Cape in South Africa and has an amazing story about living on fruit. My aunt has met her and she is vibrantly healthy and fit. Her philosophy is eat as much fruit as you want, when you want with a handful of raw nuts and avocado every day. She has no official website so you might find it difficult to find her….let me know. I’m currently on holiday in Europe, but can give you more detail when back home in New Zealand in 2 wks
