Food is only one part of the puzzle… (this particular food is an essential piece… LOL!)

It’s the ultimate exercise guide for the busy person.
It includes over 150 exercises and 15 workouts that can be done by all shapes, sizes and fitness levels.
So be sure to at least check out the book and read about why bodyweight exercises are the best for your body…

(We also have some great packages where you can save some of your hard earned money that are available until Sunday.)
On to the newsletter…
The subject of this one is a little controversial.
So, obviously, I need to explain clearly what I mean here.
I believe fitness is more important than the food you eat – and I have some evidence to back it up.
Now, I have to be entirely clear here…
You can’t eat Twinkies and workout and be in good health.
The quality of food and your eating needs to be under control for longevity.
Just want to be sure you understand that I’m not crazy…
But, back to exercise, here is part 1 of the reasons why your fitness is possibly more important than food…
1. Body strength.
As you age, your muscles get weaker. There’s no food on the planet that will build and maintain strong muscles without any activity.
As you age, your flexibility and balance can break down as well. This increases your risk of falling and injuring yourself.
Food won’t increase your balance the same way exercise will.
So to maintain your strength, balance and flexibility and reduce the risk of falls and injury exercise trumps food.
Exercise will also help you maintain upright and protect you from slumping over and condensing your internal organs – which can restrict blood flow, digestion, and organ function.
2. Your lymphatic system doesn’t have a pump.
Your lymphatic system is a major detoxifying channel in your body.
It doesn’t have a pump, so it relies on you moving around a bit.
Exercise is the best way to get this system flowing.
As your muscles contract and release and as you bounce vertically, the lymph system pumps fluid through your lymph nodes where white blood cells can work as a “filter”.
If you’re not “pumping,” (not moving or exercising) your system can’t be as clean as it needs to be.
Exercises of all types are good for moving your lymphatic fluid.
Running, hiking, walking and yoga are some of the best.
Rebounding is OK too, but you have to break a sweat!
That’s it for today, I figure I’ll let you “digest” these before I jump on to more.
So if your balance is poor, your muscles are weak, if you’re lacking an exercise program or need a fresh perspective be sure to check out or new Exercise Fundamentals book here…

I guarantee you’ll find exercises and routines that you love… we certainly did when we first started transitioning over to bodyweight exercises!
