I’m a raw vegan and frankly this time of year can be tough. Trying to accommodate my dinner guests as well as being surrounded by tons of junky and processed foods can get way out of hand. Someone at the local whole foods recommended I check out this site www.RoseCole.com/HolidayCookbook . It has tons of vegan/raw vegan/sugar free/ dairy free/gluten free recipes. I’ve tested out a few on some NON-vegan friends and they loved them!

Is is difficult to get the crust off the bottom of the pie plate since it is pressed on directly?

I have no food processor. I tried doing a crust in a blender. (It was a different pie. I had not seen this yet) The texture was yuckie. We ate it anyway but I was wondering if you can adjust the ingredients to work it in a blender? I have no idea how to do that. I am not a cook to begin with so tweaking things for me is a big deal.

Thanks to both of you for all you do. God Bless.

My Dad was treated for catastrophic heart disease at the Cleveland Clinic and one of the things they told him to eat that was good for his heart was . . . cinnamon!

I am so thankful that after 54 years, I met my soul mate and married him nearly 11 years ago!!! I am thankful everyday for getting to share my life with him.
I am thankful to having God lead me to the things that I need..(this raw way of life fo one).. Even though my health is not perfect at this time (Lyme)...I am happy, secure and safe.
We share our home with six wonderful shelter dogs and I appreciate the way they bring on hundreds of smiles a day...
I have so much to be thankful for and I am!!!

I'm thankful for two beautiful and kind kids I have and for loving husband, for having opportunity to learn something new every day (and that includes you AN&K), for eating better then previous years and for feeling better then last years.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all!
