Love you guys!
Just curious about AnnMarie’s lovely hair ornament. Is there a website to order? I have thick hair and am always seeking something to tame my tresses. Looks lovely on you girl! Best wishes, Amanda Thompson

Being newly raw (6 weeks) I enjoyed tasting all the amazing ways raw food can be prepared. I was happy to met Kevin (as I was leaving the festival). I was able to tell him how I appreciated his online talk in which he emphasized the importance of realizing your priorities and not isolating yourself when eating with non-raw friends and family.
I also really enjoyed Dr. Sam Mielcarski’s talk in which he emphasized keeping it simple and common sense. It can be so easy to get swept up and even confused with all the different approaches to the raw food lifestyle.
But Samuel emphasizes 8 essentials to optimal health: food, water, air, light, activity, rest, cleanliness, & love. It sounds so simple, but it’s easy to overlook these basics!
Bottom line: I had a great time and plan to go back next year!

Kevin, very annoying.. this show and the last one broke up every 10 seconds or so. I only got to see half of it… couldn’t take it anymore… sorry…
I do enjoy your shows… Keep up the good work..

I wanted to volunteer, however, I had finals! At least I graduate this Friday with my BS in Nutritional Sciences. I will be going next year though. Can’t wait!
FYI: the line of VivaPura is sold at the Erewhon Health Store in Los Angeles.

We went and had a great time. The best speakers were Dr Clement, David Wolfe, Dr. Yashpal Jayne, David Carmos & Dr. Shawn Miller (and of course the both of you). We learned quite a bit. Probably won’t return next year. A little bit too hippiesh for our taste. Looking for more knowledge. We could have listened to the above speakers longer. We did meet you at the RV. Funny, you look taller on camera.

How does the food warriors product fit into the RAw ideal? It sounded like it had a large number of ingredients that would involve a large amount of processing. I do enjoy your shows, Thanks a bunch.

Dear Kevin & ANN MARIE
I WAS JUST WONDERING DID ANY ONE BRING ANY LOCAL BANANAS GROWN IN SOMEONE’S BACKYARD TO THE FESTIVAL. IN THE TOWN OF LA CONCHITA, THERE WAS A BANANA PLANTATIONS, WHERE YOU COULD HAND PICK YOUR OWN BANANAS. HERE IS THE LINK IF YOU WANT TO READ THE WHOLE STORY

Kev, do you realize how much you talk over Annmarie when you put the video camera on her? It seems like she can’t get half a sentence out without you jumping back in. I’m really glad I discovered you guys, but wow, let the woman talk!

I missed it. I was busy living it up in Hawaii. I am starting to realize how great it is to be here eating raw, exercising, yoga swinging, bodysurfing with no fins, growing food, identifying and harvesting wild foods, and taking upright thinking to the next level. I’d like an event like that to come here, but it may not be as successful due to the isolation. I was thinking about you guys last night under the full moon. ALOHA!

Great info! Thank you once again. I have been inspired once again by Kevin and Annmarie to go to the Raw Spirit festival.
LOVED the info about Jeff! Thank you for all your creativity and connections, that is one of the reasons I stay connected to your health show!

Thanks for the overview. I really appreciate it. I couldn’t make this Raw Spirit Fest this year. I really wanted to go but my son’s graduation was the same weekend. How do I get my picture on here?

hi rita, my video is stopping every 2 seconds, it is due to your internet connection been too slow, and yes kevin, let AMarie talk, i agree, she has lots to offer i feel it and i live in europe, so for me the rsf is not possible as it would be very expensive , why don”t you guys come here and create one many people would love it and thanks for the infos you deliver, and you 2 look so much better and very relax since on the road, anyway, love light laughter

Would be nice to attend a raw spirit fest someday but I live in florida, and traveling with 3 children all the way out there is just not feasible for us. Were there any kids at this event? Are there ever raw spirit fests occuring on the east coast? I also would love one of those hair clips Annmarie…where can I find one?
Blessings

Sounds like you had a great time. Learned a lot. The community is growing. Awesome.
Hoping to attend the Rawfood Festival here in the east in the D.C. area. Ciao Cacao dear ones.

Thanks guys as always for the updates and info. One suggestion, can you bring down the sound of your show when it starts. It is a low bass but very loud and it ruins all my headphone on my Iphone and it affects the computer speakers as well. Just a thought plus I think it is a harsh way to start such a nice show as yours.

This is for Laura Sutton. There is a raw spirit fest this year for the first time in the Washington DC/Maryland area. It’s the last weekend in August. Here’s the website: http://www.rawspiritfest.com/
Once you get to the site, click on the EVENTS tab and you’ll see Washington DC listed and that’ll take you to more info about it.
I’ve been a bit frustrated about it not being mentioned or acknowledged in the raw food circles online I keep up with. The east coast just doesn’t get the attention the west coast does. So I’m glad you asked.
I intend to be there at least for one day of it.

I have your thick hair and no banana clip in the planet works for me…please any info on where to get this clip! Very pretty too:)

I 100% agree with Katrina Blair’s rhubarb cobbler. I had no idea that rhubarb could taste so good without being cooked. WOW!
Katrina puts an extra dose of Love in everything she makes, and you can taste it in every bite.
Lastly, it was wonderful meeting you guys. You have even better energy in person than on the tube. I promise I will post more and not be a “lurker” (as Kevin called me).

Really enjoyed the Fest and would also love to know who carried that hairclip- I didn’t see it!
I thought the setting in a campground was a bit dirty and dusty, would have enjoyed it a bit more if there was more grass. My kids had a ball and I barely saw them but they and their clothes were filthy at the end of each day.
The speakers were good (and Kevin you were SO patient as the previous speaker went on and on 20 minutes into your time, I think I was more annoyed than you and I would have liked more air time from you. You really have a commanding presence!) but I think Living Light Expo is the best for folks who really want good info from top notch leaders in this field. I didn’t feel like people were pushing their products so much over there. Kevin, will you be speaking there?

Awesome show! Love all the info. Sounds like sooo many beautiful souls all in one place. We wish we could have made it, maybe next year though.
Aloha and Love~

HI Kevin,
great videos, thanks. I went to Festival as well, it was great it. Kevin very specific question: my friend has a son 14 years old with Chronic Fatigue. She has been going to regular doctors but they don’t have a clue what to do with it. Now she is looking for alternative, holistic approach. Do you know anything or anybody who knows about CHRONIC FATIGUE ??? in kids??? You are so knowledgeble. Thank you for all your amazing staff you are doing – Love Monika

I too would like to know about the beautiful hair clip that AnnMarie found. Where can we get them? Oh, and I loved the show.
10:45 pm on June 9th, 2009
Aloha,
I wish I could have been there, but living in Hawaii makes it a little difficult to get to the mainland.
Maybe one day we will make it to one of the raw fests.
Thanks for the show!!
Kiani, I also live in Hawaii, Where do you live? I live on Oahu!
Can I ask where do you get your wild foods?
Warm Aloha’s
Cynthia

Glad you had a good time and bought good stuff at Raw Spirit.
I must agree with people who want to hear AnnMarie. When a person is introduced as a speaker, that person should be allowed to speak. Women no longer walk two steps behind the man in this enlightened age. Men need not walk two steps behind, either. Side by side is nice and loving.

I am excited about attending my first Raw Spirit Festival coming to D.C. in August. However, I can’t seem to find any info about camping – specifically, the site lists campgrounds in the vicinity, but can you camp at the Festival site itself?
I’m bringing my 6 y.o. twins as it sounds like there are kid-friendly events. Am I correct?
Would love to hear from someone who’s gone before.
Thanks you guys…but I would have liked to know a little bit more about the festival itself–maybe seen some of the grounds in a video/etc. I do appreciate your telling us your fave products though.

Hi all, I am Arianna Rose, the Volunteers Manager for the Raw Spirit Festivals. We are indeed coming to the East Coast August 29-30th. To answer Mary Kay, we do have a children’s program at each raw spirit festival – contact baerta@rawspirit.com The venue in Maryland is much smaller than Santa Barbara and so there is only camping available for volunteers. If you would like to be a volunteer please contact me at arianna@rawspirit.com Our East Coast Festival Manager is Rawbin Anderson, contact her at rawbin@rawspirit.com and keep checking the raw spirit website http://www.rawspiritfest.com Also we have a facebook page, just search for Raw Spirit Festival East Coast. Thank you to everyone who made this past weekend a wonderful one. Kevin and AnnMarie – love you guys and can’t wait to see you both again -
XO

Thanks for my own copy of “High Raw”. It is one of the treasures I took home from Raw Spirit. And loved hanging out with you guys. I was the chef for the volunteer dinner on Mon night and it went great with over 100 attendees.
RawSpirit was a life changing event for me. A little info gleamed from here and there, lots of great speakers (and they were always willing to answer questions and just sit and chat).
I highly recommend Raw Spirit. It’s the cutting edge.

No, like most people I didn’t make it to the festival. So I’d suggest taking the raw scene to the national rainbow gathering (welcomehome.org) in New Mexico this year, surrounding the July 4th holiday, and to Burning Man in Nevada whenever that is, Aug i think. Neither of these gatherings would be hostile territory for you folks, at all. There’ll most likely be enough of “the choir” in attendance, then enough of those likely to “convert” (wake up to nature’s way, or approximating that) to make it worthwhile. I’d wager your summer itinerary is already set, so please consider this for next year.

Hello! Found your site while Googling “Rainbow Gathering raw vegan camps” but haven’t found the actual reference here… would you happen to know of any raw kitchens at the Rainbow Gathering in NM this year? Would love to volunteer at one, or at the least to meet up with other rawsome folks while I’m there! Thank you… I’ll look forward to returning to your wonderful website when I get back to a computer in a month or so.
PEACE.
Jeanette
