Definitely will say yes tomorrow, but I will be travelling very early Sunday, so probably won’t post a follow-up, at least until Monday. Awesome suggestion!
7:36 pm on May 15th, 2009
I’ll do it!
A friend of mine and I were talking about ‘attitudes’ and mentality today and how she/I are laid back, care free types and have no physical/health issues while others we know keep things bottled up, are negative all time and have major health issues…
talk about timing!
So, I’m in…saturday’ll be my yes day!
now off to Health Book Summaries
8:03 pm on May 15th, 2009

Heavy subject matter regarding cancer. My eldest child had a medulloblastoma at the age of five. If he did not get medical care it would have killed him. The treatment was removal, then the toxic radiation therapy (prognosis was he may never walk or talk again). Progressive hearing loss at age 14 (from radiation) put himself through college, holds three degrees in engineering. 3 months ago experienced a TIA stroke, and a new brain tumor (meningioma). He is determined to say the least to continue to get well. He has a great attitude with loving supportive siblings and mom.

Yes, I will do it! How funny this came up because I have been listening to Bob Proctor and the “Science of Getting Rich” which is based on the movie the “Secret” to some degree, which I feel is something everyone can say “yes” to see!!!
9:08 pm on May 15th, 2009
While watching the video my wife was in the background making dinner and laughed when the challenge went out. It wasn’t a ‘this is so silly’ laugh but one that comes when you think ‘this could be fun’. So in that moment I asked if she was ready for this adventure and she said “YES”!
9:20 pm on May 15th, 2009

Okay…..you’re on. Tomorrow, Saturday, May 16th, 2009 will be a YES day!! Nothing negative. Only positive, I can do it, YES!!
Of course we can all do it together. Yes we can. (Not a political statement) Here’s to Saturday.
10:11 pm on May 15th, 2009
That is so so weird, cause i watched Yes Man on Thursday and decided to become a superduper YES person! I’m already there! Nothing too exciting has happened yet, but will be sure to inform when magic strikes ;]
Have a great weekend!

Awesome book. And, Yes!

Tell Angela Stokes that her before picture is more flattering than her after picture. Sure she’s lost weight in the after picture, but her smile and her aura glow in the before picture. There’s more to health and happiness than an hour glass figure! Certainly, she has another picture that exudes joy and documents her weight loss.

Hi Kevin,
Thank you for all your wonderful raw support!! Yes, I will try to say yes I can as much as possile tomorrow, Saturday, May 16th, 2009. I love all the different topics you get into.
Could you say something about agave nectar. I just read an article that it is just like high fructose corn syrup AND the bottle I have only has a disributor, not a manufacturer. I’m baffled that we may have been dupped!!

Yes!

Hi Kevin,
That is one nice area you were walking in. I wish you would have mentioned where you were making this video. 9am in the morning and new cars parked in every driveway of fabulous homes. I guess they probably don’t know there is a depression going on for many people, or maybe are too well off to care. This is one screwed up country we live in. I say yes to that.
11:00 pm on May 15th, 2009
Soooooo, I am pretty much a yes-woman (following my bliss, so to speak) – been for the past year…I have a question, tho, (and maybe watching the movie will answer it) – but when does saying ‘yes’ too much over commit us to things…for instance, if I say yes to what everyone wants me to do and even things I desire – I will have so much on my plate to not have time for peace, calm and quiet (something that is important to me, too!)
Does this make sense?!?!
11:00 pm on May 15th, 2009
I will check out the book, and I will go for a Yes day, be it within my beliefs and fits in the budget and all that.
11:39 pm on May 15th, 2009
I’ve actually seen the movie, so I know what you were talking about. The bad part is that I work tomorrow and I usually get taken advantage of because I can’t say no to doing what people ask me to do, even though it may not be in my job description. I’m guessing that the positive side of it will come in after I get off from work. I’ll make sure to post the day after to let you know how the whole process turned out
11:49 pm on May 15th, 2009
Yes!!! Absolutely yes, why not give it a try hey?
And look at how many of us are ALREADY saying YES!
12:32 am on May 16th, 2009
Kevin – Saw this movie as well about two weeks ago so I appreciate you bringing it back to my mind. I’m in . . . tomorrow . . . “just say yes”. It will be fun and yet I’m sure create some pause from time to time depending on what is asked of us. It will tell alot about our flexibility, openness to change and spontaneity.
Have a good weekend.
Susan

Yes I bought the book after I read the summary. So that is my first Yes!!
2:16 am on May 16th, 2009
Kevin, I haven’t seen “yes man” but I am going to have to say no. I suffered for many years because of saying yes to everyone and everything because I could’nt say no. Learning how to say no was very empowering to me, also it freed me from the users and hangers on because once I learned how to say no, they just disapeared. So saying “NO” has given me the freedom that “YES” had imprisoned me with.
2:57 am on May 16th, 2009
I’m in. Yes to bed…we’ll see what else happens.

Yes, we’re going to have a yes day!
Since you and Annemarie are having a “yes” day,
1-will you link my website, http://www.reneoswald.com to yours?
2-will you camp at our house when you come to Florida (mangos are ripe–and we have a camper hookup!)?
3-can I send you a copy of our book for your review (or we can send the eBooks and save a tree)?
4-will you make all of Annmarie’s meals today and give her a 47 minute body massage?
5-will you have an amazing day?
Thanks so much for all you do in making this a better world!
6:40 am on May 16th, 2009

I’m more of a yeah-man or sure-man I’ve noticed, for some reason I don’t really say “yes” a lot but I will give it a try today!
11:41 am on May 16th, 2009
YES I WILL. Yes I do and have said yes to most that I am able to. It is, to me, where the miracles of life are. If we want something and it comes our way, then we say no? That closes a door to a huge possibility for us.
Yes yes and yes thankx…Bette
12:58 pm on May 16th, 2009

6:52 pm on May 16th, 2009
Rene I love all your questions for Kevin to say yes to and while he’s seeing you in WPB, he and Annmarie can come another 30 mins south and see me in Pembroke Pines.
Saw you teach at NutritionSmart up there, I do the vegan demo at the one here in P. Pines
small world…
now for my ‘yes day’, I blogged about it at
http://thegreentipoftheday.com/misc/meetup.php
and my daughter got me to take her an hour north to her oldest brother’s, and the dog got me to take him for 3 walks today rather than 2, a customer got a discount and another customer got free samples
so saying yes today wasn’t ‘being taken advantage of’ but totally positive and ‘warm/fuzzy feeling’
now I should go watch the movie again since it was a good one
3:18 am on May 17th, 2009
Aloha,
OMG, We just watched that movie last night! I love Jim Carrey!!

Yeah okay it’s a YES from me.
12:07 pm on May 18th, 2009
Saturday was my, “Yes” day. I found that it took the pressure off of me having to say, “NO” and be the bad person that made life difficult. It made the person asking happy because I wanted to do something with them and additionally they were pleased that they came up with the idea. It was a “win-win” for everyone. This was a very positive and motivating experience. I hope it helped my hubby to realize that saying yes and being positive is better mentally and physically.
Thanks for the great idea! Loved the movie! It made me laugh a lot which is very good medicine as well.
1:29 pm on May 18th, 2009
I’ll do a yes day too. I will talk with my wife Csilla and see when we can do it together this week. Interesting to see some of the coments this yes day has brought up. Looking foreword to seeing Your and Anne Marie’s responses. Sye

Yes,Yes,Yes! I’m already kinda- a yes person:)
3:10 pm on May 20th, 2009
My experience is like Brenda’s (post #30). I ruined my health by saying yes too many times when I should have said no. I was under constant stess from overcommitment and overwork, spending all my time doing things I had come to hate, and none of it doing anything I enjoyed.
But since losing my health, this day, Wednesday, is my one day per week off from doing anything I don’t feel like. This day I will be saying yes to myself – to the things I really want to do but don’t have enough time for on working days.

Hi Kevin,
I have just started eating raw food and I love it! so thanks for all the good info…
All disease starts in the mind..do you know about EFT (www.emofree.com) it is awesome for clearing up disease as serious as MS, as well as PTSD & other “untreatable” conditions (well basically the medical industry can’t treat much of anything) In addition, there is hypnosis – it works to reprogram the subconscious so that what you think you can’t do, now you can. I have been learning hypnosis to be a hypnocoach – it really works and it is just so non-invasive and simple….
Have you heard of the German Oncologist, Dr Geerd Hamer, who was run out of Germany & France & whose license was removed for curing over 90% of his cancer patients by treating them to find out what their trauma or stress had been that had caused their cancers to appear in the first place. http://www.germannewmedicine.com/
Then there is the Italian Oncologist, whose license to practice medicine has also been removed, Dr. Tulio Simoncini, whose success rate of 95% with his sodium bicarb. treatment of cancer patients makes the medical industry furious.
http://www.cancerfungus.com/
Shall I continue? There is Dr. Mark Sircus, an American doctor who lives in Brazil who is brilliant: http://www.imva.info/ and believe me, there are plenty more who have realized that iatrogenic causes of disease are on the rise and wanted by our governments and outdated and hideaously bad health care systems whether it be in the States or in France etc. Germany has a much more open mind, but they were definitely not open to Dr. Hamer….
That’s all for now,
all the best & thanks to Annemarie too for great and interesting website. Hey, I downloaded your High Rawe and believe me I will read it!
