Hi Kevin Please I have a challenge around you slagging Walmart then using there facilities come on be true to your self
8:08 pm on April 24th, 2009
You 2 are so cute together!
I use jojoba oil on my skin to remove makeup, then again for moisurtizer. Works better than any cream and the bottle cost me about 6.00 from Whole Foods.
BTW I saw Kevin and Annmarie in person and even commented on their great skin. Annmarie you look much prettier in person, camera doesn’t do you justice!!

I love coconut oil for most things. Always buy it in glass and dark amber glass if possible.
I also like terresentials.com I’ve visited their store here in md and they are great. Everything is certified organic.
8:33 pm on April 24th, 2009
I am definitely going to check out the ISun. One of my favorite skin lines is Maharishi Ayurveda (mapi.com).
8:34 pm on April 24th, 2009
Ewww, I can’t believe you ate the skin care stuff! You are too funny:) I’m new to organic skin care so thanks for the tip on this line. I’ll have to try it out. Right now I’m using MKay.
8:39 pm on April 24th, 2009
ORIGINS , an Andrew Weil product line has EXCELLENT skin care products. And of course I use coconut oil or EV Olive Oil for moisturizes before bed. I like to make my own face and body scrubs out of coffee grounds, sugar and sea salt and olive oil.
8:49 pm on April 24th, 2009
I’m trying Carol Alt’s skincare line right now and makeup from 100% Pure.
8:52 pm on April 24th, 2009
Burt’s Bees It’s very reasonable

I also wanted to tell you that the intro about raw foods was exactly what I needed to hear and the most important thing that I have gotten from you. Thanks so much for clearing that up for me. LOVE, CINDY R.

I just love the both of you and how ironic that I received an e-mail from Cousin’s Restaurant in Chicago that you will be there tomorrow. I was so very excited because I would love to meet you in person yet I cannot afford any of the super foods that you will be prommoting. Now today you mentioned that you do not need to spend more than you can afford.
Ok I am always looking for natural beauty products. Since I been Skin Brushing I never ever needed to use deodorant or even soap.
9:12 pm on April 24th, 2009
You are both so funny!! I don’t use anything on my skin, never have and I have been told that I have the softest, nicest skin. I was also I.D’d in the liquor store 5 years ago when I was 38. Like you said, you don’t need all the other stuff…just fruit, veg, nuts and seeds (and water). Maybe that is the reason!
9:20 pm on April 24th, 2009
You both are such a delight to watch! You are authentic, sweet, and informative. I first heard you (Kevin) during Nomi Shannon’s tele-seminar last year and have enjoyed your vlogs so much. I use make-up that I get online from everydayminerals.com. It is all organic, lots of free samples to try, and very inexpensive!
Thank you so much!

So Kevin, What is a good water purifier to buy….without buying your “Water Secrets”….I mean like we all know about Vegetables and what to eat…that’s common sense….yes many have none……people are stupid…you know I am right….isn’t it amazing how many really brain-washed stupid people are out there…so back to my question….I’ve been researching this…..everyone seems to have the best system….

Hello,
This is the first time I post an answer to your videos, but I often visit your site which I love… I was using Dr. Haushka, but stopped because the skin milk and toner are pricey (but it is an awesome product) currently I’m using olive oil and castor fits my budget. I recently got introduced to DNA Skin care from Dr. Aguilar in Ventura, Ca http://www.dnaskin.com/….Have an awesome day… Liliana

Shea butter. Pure shea butter. I use it everywhere and for everything. Best stuff I ever used, and I’ll never be without it.

I really enjoy the organic products from
Nikken. Not just because I am affiliated with
Nikken, but in my opinion that are the best I have ever used.
Love your videos.

Thank you for reminding us that what’s truly important is basic raw foods, not the extras like sauces and oils. I just ordered some nut butters and what-not online and it was an expensive hassle getting it sent here. I realize it’s easier to just eat simply, and use extras occasionally. Thanks for stressing this point.
Skin products: I have a mish-mash collection of Avalon Organics (because it’s the only brand available here that’s organic); Dr. Haushka samples; and Burt’s Bees. I don’t notice one product or brand working much better than the others.
10:11 pm on April 24th, 2009
LOVE the Miessence skin care products…they are USDA certified (to food grade standards), so yes, you could eat them too Kevin…just not recommended
The products are not cheap, but so so worth it. You really do get what you pay for when it comes to skin care products. I WISH coconut oil worked for me but it just doesn’t do the trick.
10:13 pm on April 24th, 2009
I mainly use Skinscents which smell fantastic (very herbal) and the whole line is chemical and toxin-free. I’ve had a noticeable wrinkle reduction with the anti-wrinkle serum. The clay mask is fantastic. Noticeable results immediately.
I also love the Rose Hydrating Mist from Miessence in both winter and summer when the skin gets dry. It’s packed with real rose oils so smells delicious. Maybe you can spray it on salad Kevin, LOL! Their handsoap is the best (don’t need handcream anymore since using it) and shampoo detoxifies the scalp from all old hair products that actually get embedded in the scalp. Gross but true. It takes a month or so for it to all clear out. All certified organic ingredients. They also have a fantastic mud mask with herbal oils. The mud comes from a highly magnetic riverbank in Australia. These products are also cold formulated and not heat treated. http://www.goodskinforlife.com.
I’m not that fussy and will use anything that doesn’t contain chemicals. No SLS, no parabens. I had MCS and learned to use only totally clean and organic products. It feels good to know whatever goes down my drain isn’t hurting the environment.
By the way coconut oil can make an excellent moisturizer. I know a woman who has very good looking skin and all she uses is a bit of olive oil. Most of us really don’t need fancy stuff but it’s a nice treat at the end of the day before bed.

Fun show, guys
…I love it when the whole family is in on camera
The Isun product does look great – their website is really good…thanks, Annmarie!!..I give them a try.
I really love Eminence products – the company began in Hungary but is also in Victoria, BC now… – and there were a lot of parallels in the ISun products. Wait till you try the “peppery” masque you talked about – Eminence has one with cayenne in it and it feels wild
.
have a great weekend!! hugs, Dede

What is your opinion of pickles, I’m talking about natural/organic truly fermented pickles(cucombers)? Why is it that natural pickles are never described as healthy fermented foods? Is there some kind of health hazard or demoting quality that I am not aware of? I understand that standard supermarket deli pickels are probably nutritionally obsolete, but if we ferment them ourselves, wouldn’t the probiotic bacteria still be intact? Maybe you could clear up this misunderstanding. Thanks.

I second the recommendation of Eminence- I’ve been using the Eucalyptus Face Wash- which is amazing! My holistic esthetician combines many of the masks like the Paprika Enzyme Peel to deep cleanse my skin when I see her. I’d had a remarkable improvement with it!
I also use Nature Purity’s Green Clay Mask and Lotion Purifante as a toner/moisturizer.
http://www.naturepurity.com
I am very impressed with the Isun Products- no fillers or chemical ingredients whatsoever. I’m not sure my esthetician would approve for my skin because she is under the school of thought that all oils natural or not- are not at all appropiate for oily/acne conditions.
5:00 am on April 25th, 2009
i just use carrier oils.
but if i had money to burn i’d get into the jurlique range.
7:47 am on April 25th, 2009
Coconut oil to remove makeup. And after trying tons of organic stuff over the years, Burts Bees Radiance Night Creme. It’s really the first creme I’ve used that’s truly non toxic that makes a visible difference in my skin. I’m 38, so I have the beginnings of some little wrinkles and this stuff really diminishes them. It’s great under makeup too for dry skin and if you use the mineral makeup powders; which I do. Gives a nice glow to my skin and keeps the minerals from accenting wrinkles and pores. Great stuff for the price.
I like Avalon organics exfoliating enzyme scrub in lavender. Perfect.
11:00 am on April 25th, 2009
I like you show
I love “eaurganic” certified organic skincare products. They have products from Head to Toe, New and Awsome. I use the Make-up remover “Fine”, Facial cleanser “Splash”, Moisturizer “Vital”, and anti-aging “Ecstasy”. They last forever!

I use Dr. Hauschka products…best line I’ve ever used, heard about it from chiropractor, strangely enough. I have had trouble finding in Bulgaria (currently live in BG) but was no problem in Spain. First found in Savannah GA.
11:41 am on April 25th, 2009
I don’t have product yet- still hopping around trying this and that. Going to check out the website in a bit. In the meantime I find that I can’t go wrong with cocoa butter or coconut oil.
12:00 pm on April 25th, 2009
ooops I forgot to mention almost 100% aloe vera gel (not lotion). I use that on my face and neck. It’s not organic and only has the two ingredients (aloe vera and vitamin e). I was using facial hair removal cream to remove hair from my face and after just a few minutes – literally – felt burning and removed and off came the cream AND my 1st two layers of skin!!! I was scared that I’d be scarred for life – especially having dark skin, there I was with nice brown skin and big patches of pink from the chemical burns. A friend told me about the product and I tell you in 3 1/2 to 4 days my skin returned back to it’s nice brown color without any scabbing or signs of a previous injury.. I was sold on aloe vera after that

Kevin,
I see you have a sunburn there! There is product called Tamanu Oil that will take the redness out of your sunburn and heal it overnight, I buy it from Mountain Rose Herbs, it is organic an inexpensive. It beats aloe vera when it comes to healing burns and scars! Just amazing results for myself and everyone I have reccommended it too. I keep it on hand always. Have fun in the sun!!!

Kevin, I’ve read couple different places that you should never put on your skin what you could not eat. So this stuff must have passed the test.

I use plantogen
3:35 pm on April 25th, 2009
Thanks for all your great information that we recieve. I use Kandsen made by Sunrider Internation. They are great products. I am an esthetician, so I could buy anyones, this is my choice.Remember to keep finger out of jars. These natural products must be used up, don’t keep after six month up to a years, They can grow mold inside. I love these natural skin care lines. They just seem to keep getting better.

Hey! I think endorsements is the way to go…as Harv Eker would you should earn as much money as you can—because then you are in a much better place to give back to the world. I appreciate all your inside info on the products you find for us–and as they are all good people and stuff…I say definately you should become an affiilate and help those people grow thier good businesses–it helps us all!!
10:31 pm on April 25th, 2009
Whoops – Sara – you are right – it is paprika – not cayenne that Eminence uses in a scrub….but its still pretty amazing
11:51 pm on April 25th, 2009
I love the Miessence brand. Organic skin care, body care, etc. Very nice!
12:21 pm on April 26th, 2009
I love Tonya Zavasta’s Your Right to be Beautiful products. The masque, which I use as a scrub, and the cream are both fabulous –and edible for you, Kevin! Anyway she’s raw and looks great, and I don’t think I’m looking too bad for an over 50 girl either.
2:40 pm on April 26th, 2009
I’ve been washing my face with mostly water for about 5 months now. Every couple of days I will use olive oil. My face has never been clearer and softer. I basicaly use the oil while I’m in the shower. Just massage my face with it and take a wash cloth to steam a bit and wipe off. Sometimes I moisturize with some shea butter I wipped up. Good stuff.
4:45 pm on April 26th, 2009
Thank you for the organic suggestion! MyChelle is nice and Annemarie Borlind heal up my skin. I could use an organic dailly cream that would help prevent acne. ISun has the marine algae, that must be really good. I love the GT marine algae kombucha, partly because I have clear skin when I drink it.
8:22 pm on April 26th, 2009
I just discovered a product line that I love, Golden Path Alchemy. It’s made in small batches, all organic and natural. I’m sure you could enjoy eating this one, too.

Kevin, what did you decide about the colonics? Do you plan to add them to your health maintenance routine now?
10:26 am on April 27th, 2009
I use coconut oil daily, nothing added. I also use Vitamin E and shea butter sometimes. I bought some ingredients – shea, coconut, aloe, vitamin E, etc. to make my own lotion but just stuck with the plain old coconut oil.
11:40 am on April 27th, 2009
I am very excited to never use commercial skin products ever again. I do think there are some good companies out there making quality stuff but I would rather use simple food ingredients I put together myself. Like Kevin mentioned with food..simplicity is best. I brush my teeth with baking soda and sea salt. I use coconut oil on my skin and hair. I body brush. I use a shampoo from herbal tea. And all these things (except body brushing) I use sparingly. No need to shower or wash every day, let the natural oils within us come to the surface to do their job. Often time I just wash and brush teeth with only water. Very simple very economical and just makes sense. The other day I even played with mushing up an avocado and putting that in my hair. Left way too much heavy oil in my hair…but maybe good every once in a while.
Love to all,
Nadia
ps also hair rinse with diluted apple cider vinegar…amazing to strip hair of commercial residues and leaves hair so so soft

Well, let’s see, I use many different products. I love certain ones from different lines.
~ For make-up, hands down the best ever: Jane Iredale Mineral Makeup-it’s not certified organic but I’ve worked with it (as an esthetician) and used it for 8 years now. No chemical fillers, no artificial anything. They are mindful about not using harmful & carcinogenic ingredients. It enhances my already healthy skin.
~ Vada skincare – it’s out of Canada- probably not available in the U.S. – I like that it’s made close to my home. It’s a beautiful line.
~ Dr. Bronner’s magic soaps, especially the Tea Tree and the Rose scented ones. Great for the whole body!
~ Weleda- haven’t tried much of this line yet, but the Rose Body Oil and the Sea Buckthorn Body Oil are amazing- I use them on my face. And I have an oilier skin type. So those of you with oily skin out there, don’t be afraid of using oils. They don’t make your skin oilier when it’s high quality that absorbs properly. Your skin needs moisture and nourishment.
~ Hemp seed oil on my face and body
~ Coconut oil on my face and body
~ Thayer’s Rose Petal & witch hazel toner- so refreshing.
I don’t use all of these all at the same time, but I have all of them on hand, it just depends on what I feel like using at the time.
I love natural & organic skincare products.
The best way to achieve healthy skin though, is from eating healthy foods and having a healthy lifestyle. And through empowering, loving, and accepting ourselves. All of this comes from the inside out. I believe the skin is a reflection of what’s going on inside of us.
Thank-you for the space to share.
Kind Regards

Best skin cleaner I have ever used. You will see a noticeable difference in just days. Also exfolliate on a regular basis, you can’t make a difference with tons of dead-skin on your face. Very happy I found this one. http://www.myginale.com/catalog/products.php

One line that I love is evanhealy. I believe it’s all organic and is created with the concept that the skin breathes, so the less you mess with it, the better. Although, what has got me through the yucky winter and was the cheapest beauty product (moisturizer, that is) ever was good old fashioned, organic, cold pressed olive oil! Amazing!

Your show about organic skincare: just because a product says its organic doesn’t mean it is unless it is certified organic. I use miessence you can check it out at Naturesway2go.com – it is certified organic skin care to food standards. The only skincare company in the world that is at this time.
9:31 pm on April 29th, 2009
I use Sunrider products. They are organic, made in their own factory so that they can control the quality of everything. The products could be eaten without any harmful effects even on children. They actually feed the skin. I totally trust Dr. Chen who is a pharmacist and master herbalist. I love their foods as well which also contribute to great skin. The products are also ph correct. Just try testing the ph of regular soaps – most are scandalously alkaline.

I love VADA skin care products: no fillers. no gluten, no chemicals, all natural and organic; the shampoo and conditioner, as well as the balancing skin care are my absolute favs. They soothe and calm my eczema, and psoriasis. They are available through Only Green…love them!
