    Hello Kevin and Annmarie,

    for my lips, I love to use Shea butter. I have some pure shea I can use now, but I find that anything organic that has shea as an ingredient usually helps.

    Over the last year I have switched from using any commercial brands to only a local one lip balm for daily use and in that time have had MAJOR improvements!! I always have on in my coat now(or some pocket it won’t melt in).

    I first got mine at farmers market in Fairfield, but then realized the guy I buy be products from also sells it since she uses his prodcuts..which is even better.

    my lips are always peeling.
    could this be a deficiency?

    i’m taking magnesium citrate now as i suspected a deficiency on raw diet, so hoping for something amazing!

    I use Burt’s Bees Balm or Eco-Lips most of the time year-round. Eco-Lips is made just 25 miles from where I live so I like to support them and they make a fantastic product also! I like the consistency of the Burt’s a little better though, it’s more dense.

    Greens is one of my favorite restaurants. If you’re still in San Fran and you get a chance, try Millennium, vegan though not raw!

    Favorite lip balm is not raw, but is vegan — My Sexy Lips, Naturally Naked.

Also since I discovered coconut oil and distilled water I haven’t had much problems with under my lip *knock on wood*. Thank you once again.

  18. Calendula salve workes very well it helps to spead up the bodie’s natural ability in the formation and growth of new tissue cells. Also as a prevenative measure, Nu Age Labratorie’s biochemic tissue salt Calcium Flouride helps your lips in that it prevents them from becoming chapped and cracking. Hope that helps.

Lots of great stuff out there – so I just wanted to provide some information that this community would love! We are the only U.S. manufacturer of this type of Avocado Oil. We cold press it, leave it unfiltered and unrefined. This is all done from our 40 acre certified organic avocado grove where we also live.
