Craig Sommers came to my house and used a meter to measure the electromagnetic radiation from appliances etc in our home, and fortunately our place was pretty good, which was a relief!

I know Victoria Boutenko talks about them a bit in Green for Life but what do they “do to you?” I live in a big city with power lines close by, and factories, unfortunately, so I’m sure if I had one of those little machines it would go bonkers:-( Hope you can find out where to buy them, and the protective film, too!

Back in 2001, I had a good friend who claimed radiation from his CRT monitor was making him ill, so I helped set him up with an expensive LCD screen. He still claimed to sense the radiation and so had someone build copper mesh cages around all his electronic components. Very little information or help on the subject was available on the Internet back then.

Ingredients
Cake:
1 1/3 cup Dates, well-packed, finely chopped
1/2 cup Coconut butter
1/2 tsp. Sea salt
2 Tbsp. Vanilla Extract
30 oz. Almond flour
8 oz. Espresso
Chocolate Mousse:
1/4c. + 2T. Navitas Naturals Cacao Powder
1/2 oz. Irish moss (soaked 12 hours)
1/2 cup Water
2 cup Almond milk*
1/4 cup. Dates, well-packed and finely chopped
1/3 cup. Agave Nectar
2 tsp. Vanilla extract
1/8 tsp. Sea Salt
2 Tbsp Lecithin
1/2 cup Raw unscented coconut butter
Whipped Cream:
1 1/2 cup Navitas Naturals Cashews
2 1/4 cup Coconut milk
1/2 cup + 2 Tbsp. Agave nectar
2/3 cup Raw unscented coconut butter
2 Tbsp. Lecithin
Garnish:
1/4c. Navitas Naturals Cacao Powder
Directions
For the Cake:
First puree the dates in a food processor. To create a fine paste, you may need to add a little water. In a mixer with flat paddle at low speed, mix date, coconut butter, vanilla and salt until smooth. Add flour and mix at higher speed until well incorporated. Remove from mixer and separate into two equal portions. Grease pan (with unscented coconut butter) and form an even layer on bottom of the pan with one portion. Soak this layer with half of the espresso (4 oz.). Allow espresso to soak in.
For the mousse:
Blend Irish moss with ½ cup of milk until dissolved, smooth and thick. Add remaining milk, date, agave, vanilla, salt and Navitas Naturals Cacao powder, and blend until smooth. Add lecithin and coconut butter until well incorporated. Pour onto the cake layer. Set in fridge/freezer (about one hour). Once set, layer the other cake portion on top of the mousse and soak cake with remaining espresso. Return to fridge/freezer until ready to top with whipped cream.
*Try making the mousse recipe on its own as a fancy chilled dessert. (See “Recipes” section, under “Cacao”).
For the whipped cream alternative:
Blend all ingredients except lecithin and coconut butter until smooth. Then add lecithin and coconut butter, blending until well incorporated. Pour onto cake and set in fridge/freezer (about one hour). Once set, dust with Navitas Naturals Cacao powder in an even layer.

Use it around any appliance or your computer sometime just the wires in you house will set it off. Oh they use them in ghost busting too…:)

I agree with Caryl that EMFs are generated by many common electrical devices and also around the wiring in houses. This is not just about cellphones. There is also a device to read RF (for radio frequency I think) which is what cell phones use (somebody please check me on this). I have read recommendations to arrange sleeping areas particularly away from electrical outlets, electric clocks, etc. I have checked household EMFs with such a handheld device and found strong fields around the refrigerator, the halogen lamp on my desk, around the sides of my computer (there may be some screening on the front of the monitor and you can get screens to use).
The idea is that such waves affect the electrical functions of the cell. Some people are very sensitive and others are being affected without knowing it. A good question is how much is this a factor in the high cancer rates in industrialized areas. I think it’s a piece of the puzzle along with many other toxic processes–thinking of everything which adversely affects bodily processes as toxins.
This is worth looking into and controlling where possible.

Thanks for bringing up this very important issue. Energy is everything and these person-made waves are messing with our natural energy/magnetic environment.
Getting back to nature in our magnetic environment can do amazing things for our homeostasis. I have used a number of products like magnetic insoles, bracelets, pads, wraps and a sleep system (which creates a cocoon effect recreating the magnetic resonance of the earth) with great success … more energy, better sleep, clearer thinking. And by all means use a cell phone headset and try not to use your laptop on your lap! That does triple if you are on WiFi.

EMF is a very serious health threat affecting the body at the cellular level. EMF’s disrupt the communication system of the human body at the cellular level causing all sorts of “dis-ease” processes. Yes, i am very concerned about all the waves we are bombarded with everyday. I have a friend who is electrically sensitive, so I know firsthand about some of the problems. Sweden is much more ahead of us in this area. The U.S. is backwards in this area. Wish we could get much more with it. The film is not good enuff. We need to wear something to protect ourselves since we are always surrounded by all these waves whether inside or outside. Let me know if u find something that we can wear to protect ourselves.

Shocked? Not here. We have loaned our customers an EMF device to measure electromagnetic waves for many years. Let’s just say you don’t want to live anywhere where EMF waves are high. A bit of a coincidence, but I just finished watching ‘The Beautiful Truth’ a movie about the Gerson treatment. Although no mention is made about electromagnetic waves, it is non the less a very worthwhile movie to watch.

Gulf War Syndrome. My brother has a mild form. I’m not shocked – there are towers everywhere these days. I am concerned, considering that our brains work on electrical impulses, it isn’t a stretch that these EM waves are affecting us in ways we can’t imagine. This is how the big corp’s get away with things, plausible deniability. If you can’t proved something beyond a causal association, then there is no liability.
Having said that, I’m probably not going to run out mylar all my windows since household electricity puts out its own EM, not to mention the gadgets we live with. I’m not convinced we can really get away from EM waves. We’ll just have to be as healthy as possible otherwise and pray for the best.

If this is new to you I should say check out a site called powerwatch.org.uk. We hired their equipment to check our home and came up with all sorts of readings especially near mobile phone masts and depending on what frequency they are transmitting depends on what you get. Some are absolutely screaming at you. Also when you put your computer onto wifi it generates a sound like a machine gun going off. Room for thought hey. I would just mention that at a David Wolfe workshop he (besides all the equipement he has to counteract this stuff) recommended walking barefoot for a least an hour a day as a kind of grounding out from these frequencies and connecting with the natural earth frequencies. I’m not sure thats explained correctly but thats the gist of it.

Here in the LAND of Israel, specifically, in Ma’ale Adumim we are situated in the Judean Hills not far from the Eastern part of Jerusalem. There is a huge tower on the Hebrew U. campus (Mt. Scopus) which I would bet emits loads of EMF. Since I am toward the bottom of my neighborhood, the people closer to the top of the hill would probably receive more and those folks living near the Bezeq Telephone co.building on the top of our hill where there is a small tower , would definitely have a problem. However, I am directly across from 2 smaller towers at the police station, besides my having 2 refrigerators which emit the waves. NO STOVE (B”H) but what about our small appliances like dehydrators, blenders, and food processors? I have a Bio Pro on my computer and one on my cell phone which seems
to work, but who knows?

You guys rock! Awesome show. I am super sensitive…like cell phone a foot away from my ear and it burns and I get nauseous. I bought Biopro technology (the site above). A home harmonizor is way cool and totally absorbs the electro vibes. YOu plug it in the wall and it protects you from electro frequencies and you feel the energy in the room change.
The cell phone chips are awesome but I’m so sensitive I use a pendant with it. Not so sure how much protection it really gives…research says one thing, but can we really escape this stuff? I say eat superfood nutrition and work your body to super human levels and maybe we can become superheros who are immune…..That’s my strategy living in NYC!

I am unshocked. The best protection is a positive dream of a healthy future, a healthy now.
If you worry, I suggest you calm and relax yourself, breath deeply and imagine a healthy body to live in.
I think those devises are useless because the waves are everywhere. If they are not reaching you they are reaching someone else. Perhaps the devise is used to convince other people. Otherwise, clean your enviroment from the inside out.
And we are all made of electro waves.. energy. Change the frequency in your body and allow yourself to thrive on it. I never thought about this stuff until I met a woman that dowsed energy fields! She had chosen the gym that we met at because it was the only one she had visited that didn’t have any “bad” sections. She showed me how to dowse the currents using those metal coat hangers or your fingers.
Another thing she said was that cats & dogs particularly like to sit in the bad sections (maybe that’s why my cat is so whacky!). Until she mentioned I had never realized that my cat had a tendency to sleep in what seemed like a TOTALLY unlikely place, in the middle of the room away from anything comfy. Then I dowsed it and all the energy lines converged there. WEIRD! That was when I went out and bought two himalayan salt lamps. I’m not sure how to tell if they work, but they’re supposed to deflect or dispel the bad currents or something. They’re supposed to be good to place near your computer if you spend long hours there. Freaky stuff to think about. I can’t help but feel now like I’m always being microwaved on defrost!!

OMG!!
I am a little shocked! I have always heard about this but really did not pay much attention to it. Since I have been trying to go 100% raw I really feel the EM’s, I am really getting sensitive, I can’t even put my cell phone to my ear because it zaps my ear, it really hurts and burns. When I go into a store I can hear and feel the EM’s. Even the house I am living in makes me sick, I feel drained, tired all the time,aching joints and more. I need to get this house checked.

If you walk/run on the earth barefoot it helps to de-magnetise yourself. I heard it from Dr Shultze I believe and every so often I tell the kids “It is time!” and we all run around the house barefoot. It is a lot of fun, we feel better and it is something that we can do that help. I think that is why it is such a frustrating subject…how can we as individuals fix it!

If you have wifi in your house, unplug it when not in use.
Do not use cordless phones if you can.
Keep your cell phone away from your head, do not sleep with it near you at all if it is on.
Try and get a battery operated alarm clock if you can. Don’t have it too close to your head, at least 2 feet away.

Electrosmog detector looks like the one she was using. Yeah this is scary stuff as so little is known about it. The Russians banned microwave ovens completely from their country I read but they still have radio towers emitting microwave radiation. The modern age seems to have made us all a living experiment on the long term effects of such radiation.

I wear a personal protector always that neutralizes radiation. My cell phone is off unless I actually need it but I have a guardian on it too and so do other members of my family. Unfortunately it’s very hard to explain the vital importance of this and my friend who sold them here had to stop the business for loss of money. I’ll try and find out the manufacturing info since they came from the US.
Warning: many of the devices on the market don’t work and they WEAR OUT after a year or two so be aware of that if you buy one at a trade show of from a popular company who I expect will go out of business before long as people start to catch on that it’s junk.
I tested a previous home and had exactly one circular area in the middle of my kitchen floor that wasn’t completely polluted with radiation. Scary stuff.

Even with awareness, this is still shocking. Many years ago, I borrowed an EMF reader from a friend and found several hotspots in my home. I rearranged my furniture accordingly so that we would be out of those places most of the time. I also wear a Q-link to help fend of electromagnetic fields. This is a terrific problem that I hope we will develop technology to counteract. Bringing the awareness to the public is the first step. The experiments done with the Q-link show how our blood clumps and our brainwaves go out of balance when exposed to these fields. The same person under the same circumstances wearing the Q-link will show more fluid blood and calmer, more balanced brain waves. I have also read that meditating helps to counteract these fields.

This is totally real and a very serious concern. Dr Klinghardt estimates EMFs are a huge unseen problem and contributing to ill health.
I personally use Sacred Geometry to counter act that stuff and accelerate personal growth. I sleep on 600 large sheet of the stuff.

Thanks for bringing this topic up. As a person who took up the hobby of ghost hunting I realized that EMF cause adverse reactions to the body. And as someone aspiring to work in Special Education in an alternative classroom situation, I believe that EMF (as well as flourescent lighting, lack of activity and diet) can play a big part in the moods, attention span and behavior in children. I think this is something more people need to know about.

This mass of electrical frequencies that are bombarding us human beings on a daily basis, 24:7 is something to be really concerned with. I’ve put in my own bedroom an apparatus to help negate this kind of thing. But, I’ve been told that I still need something to negate the EFs in my room where I sleep. So, what I have is not working. There must be a whole variety of such instruments that negate the effect of electrical frequencies. I am wondering if anyone knows more about this.

I have a gauss meter,got it on the web and paid a little more than $25. It allows me to measure EMF’s in my home and work place. I also bought a cell chip and put it on my cell phone. Better safe than sorry. There are allot of chips and necklaces and devices for sale on the web to block high frequency EMF’s. Being exposed to allot of EMF’s will make your red blood cells cluster together and it is a problem that is being ignored, much like the cigareete issues in the 60’s. As always, we must take responsibility for our own health issues and become knowledgeable to any toxic dangers seen or unseen. Thank-you for addressing these issues.

I got rid of my cell phone two months ago for fear of cancer. Life is much simpler now and Im ready to take the next step eventually…get rid of the computer, how to do that is my challenge.

There is no shortage of things to be fearful of/about. Trouble with that is…whatever you are giving your attention to is what your are creating and drawing to you. Anything in this time/space reality is only a truth because we believe it and vibrate at the same frequency as it by giving our attention to it.
It has been my personal experience with a so-called “incurable” disease that…if it is truly a joyful, peaceful, healthy and prosperous life that you want…these are the things that need your focused, steadfast, tunnel-visioned, undivided attention. Best to you.

I’m still curious as to why electromagnetic waves are actually bad for you. I’ve heard of them used for healing purposes. Electromagnetic waves are just visible and invisible light waves. Wondering where I can find out more information as to why it is harmful?

I recommend to every one here to find an easy, effective yet cheat solution to all this maladies, regarding EMR. It´s vital to clear out there are all forms of EMR, good and bad ofcourse. The kind we get zapped with constantly is not a natural EMR, hence it can be considered altering, overlapping, degenerative, especially to our brain waves and endocrine functions. I recommend looking in to the work of Dr. Teuro Higa and EM technology. I work on my computer for hours at a time. Had to change to a LCD monitor thinking my eye problems, head aches would go away it does help but not much. I have been working with this technology for quite some time, using it in my garden, composting etc. When I got my hands on his books, he claims 2 main reasons for the effectiveness of EM technology 1. Antioxidation 2. HADO. The second being a form of High frequency resonance output but the EM´s. I started cleaning my screen with a 500-1 dilution on the screen (very dry almost completely dry cloth)then a slightly more damp cloth on and around the monitor same goes for around the desk and so forth. I don´t use chemicals at all, also I drink the solution and bathe in it. While also washing my eyes with it, needless to say my symptoms have almost completely disappeared. It a bit over a month, the high resonance output but the EM´s overrides the damaging one put out by any other agent, organic or not. Try it out I recommend it

I am from Norway, getting the q-link pendant tomorrow. This will strengthen my own bio field because the pendant resonates with it, making the bio field stronger. The reason EMF makes us sick is because it`s more difficult to transport waste and nutrition from the cells from our organs and blood. The cells need energy. So basically the EMF makes the cells shut down communication.
