I live near Anaheim (in Fullerton). If you are planning some fun time in Orange County, we can join you. What do you do tomorrow, on Thursday, March 5th?
It's my son's 3 year Birthday, exiting day, but we forgot to plan it to celebrate some way.

Kevin, I've heard you talk about oregano oil before. Do you use oregano oil on a daily basis? I would think that would help with your candida issue. ( Is your oil P73 ?) I get my oregano oil from NORTH AMERICAN HERB AND SPICE. I've researched and I think its the best around.
Also Kevin, are you taking a good probiotic on a daily basis ( GARDEN OF LIFE) has excellent probiotics. My daughter has crohn's and she had yeast infections alot and taking probiotics has really controlled her yeast issues. Acidophilus ( in probiotics ) helps reduce the amount of histamine liberated by putrefactive bacteria and is crucial for anyone who wants to prevent recurring yeast infections.
And GARLIC, GARLIC, GARLIC, very anti fungal. Eat it everyday.
Also check out Pau d'Arco This herb has been recommended by doctors who specialize in treating Candida. It exerts an anti-fungal action which serves to kill off the overgrowth of Candida.
Chamomile tea, contains compounds which have the ability to KILL Candida organisms. Chamomile also contains high amounts of calcium and magnesium.
Please let me know if you have tried these herbs to help you.

The challenge not too long back was to try to live off about $25.00 a week, around what you'd get in food stamps. Be interesting to see that attempted for raw sans farmer's markets, vitamix, and other tools of the trade which most likely would not be in those households.

Given price of organics, and the more mainstream average of daily calorie needs, it could be quite tricky. Growing your own in an apartment of communal yard could be problematic as well, especially for a whole family.

Living on a tight budget myself, I cannot make most of the recipes I see on this show as I can't afford a blender, food processor and especially not a vitamix. Or the high priced organics in my area.

I can, however, still try to get the most nutrients for my dollar as a vegan.

Hello kevin and Ann Marie,

too bad you guys won't be spending too much time in Orange County. they're some awesome trails around the area plus community gardens as well.

That's one way "poor" people have been acquiring their fruits and veggies; through co-op gardens and by growing it in their back yard. My relatives have corn, lemon trees, avocado trees, spinach and tender cactus and so much more growing around the house/apartments. Some people around here even have chickens and goats, depending on the size of their lot. That's amazing! I think it goes against city code but who cares. It's all in the means of survival.

There are non-profit groups who grow the food in community gardens and feed the homeless every week. There's an organization called Food-not-bombs in OC and LA who fund raise and work along side community gardens to feed those who can't or don't want to live in their perspective societies.

It's incredible what people can accomplish just by working together. Just like you guys. You guys are amazing and thanks for spreading love and knowledge.

ciao!

You do seem very relaxed today Kevin - that's wonderful!

How can we bring raw food to the poor?

How can we bring raw food to the rich?

I don't think this lifestyle is about your financial status at all. It's a beautiful thing to discover and experience but for me it never had anything to do with money.

The seekers (regardless of money) will find their own way.

Do we need to hear this information from an outside source? I don't think so. When we start to listen to our intuition, we find the way all on our own. It is simple. It is natural to us.

Have the best day ever!

Blessings,

Santa Cruz, CA has a Homeless Garden Project. It is a beautiful large garden almost on the ocean. Prime property. People can find out how Santa Cruz is doing it and get one going in their area. Kevin, you might want to visit it when you come through Santa Cruz. Many blessings, Jia

Jill you make a wonderful point on the amount of FREE information that is on the web!

However, there is an ever-growing trend amoung natural health, and raw food experts, to create a pay only (I've got the real health secrets available here for you for the astronomically low price of $XX).

In mine secret area, you'll get the whole truth, and find out how to be truly well both inside and out! Join today and realize the benifits of real health!

If we all (as you apparently have), can learn to google the information, our only costs will be the food itself.

Go community gardens, share the knowledge!

Let peace, and great health abound....

I have a few questions about your personal experience with candida, Kevin.

-What were your symptoms originally that made you realize you had it?

-What are the symptoms that keep returning when you eat sugar now?
And
-How long has it been since you originally noticed the problem?

Thanks.
