It’s fitting that we launch our national tour on the 250th episode of the show!
Today, you get to hear a few clips from our launch party.
Here I explain how the veggie fuel system (SVO) works and how we plan on getting vegetable oil to run our Cummings Diesel engine.
Enjoy!

Hey, I’m sure you guys are probably going to check out quite a few raw restaurants along the way. Maybe you could take a little video clip of the ones you stop at just to show people whats out there. We’ve got one here in San Luis Obispo,Ca (Smiling Dog Yoga and Raw Cafe)that definitely appreciate you stopping by. We’ve got a great growing raw community here also. We’re about an hour and a half north of Santa Barbara.
Thanks

Awesome! Bon Voyage Kale Whale captain and mate. I leave that up to you guys to decide who that is.:-)
I love to see you do some exercises on top of the vehicle. Making a whale Kale salad on the go. Love to see the wild edibles on your travels across the country. Stopping by springs and filling up your water jugs. Talk to the local experts about the ecology of the area. Happy Trails.

I personally would like to see more preparation of food specifically for your needs, Kevin. What exactly are you going to eat more to increase calories intake?
12:58 am on February 24th, 2009
Talk about how a person can create a raw food community and meet people who eat raw foods. I am creating a raw food community and would like suggestions on how you created the community that surrounds you in your quest for health with raw foods.

Kevin and Annemarie:
I would like it if you could post an itinery of your stops so that if you are near anyone of us we can make arrangements to try and go there. It would help me if I knew what the stops are here in so cal. I could not really understand where you are at in anaheim and what a person would need to do to attend.
Thank you,
Elaina

One thing I think the raw community needs is a comprehensive directory of where the raw food restaurants are in the US. If you could compile that on your journey as you go around that would be so great for the raw foodists! Especially since a lot of us would plan our vacations to be near them – I know I would!
I especially like the recipes you share. Also, the Q & A is helpful, since sometimes the questions others have are questions I have myself.
Thanks, guys! Bon Voyage!

I love the interviews. The one with Fred Bischi is great and Wendi Dee. I never know what to expect, spontaneity and passion make the show great.
I can’t believe Ann Marie is driving the Kale Whale, that’s impressive. You both are impressive. Look forward to your shows.
About the promoting products. I believe in what you are doing. You will find the right balance. For Your Health, Lorraine Lott

Please post your scheduled stops at least a week (or maybe 2 weeks) ahead of time if possible. It would help us to arrange to actually meet you when you arrive at our city or one near by.
Drive safe and get plenty of rest.
As a former truck driver, I can tell you that life on the road can make you drowsy and traffic jams can cause stress and tension. Be sure to stop off at a hotel every few weeks or so just for one night. The larger shower and softer bed, plus just being able to call room service for little things, will help relax you termendously.

Thanks for the recipe but you did not include nut butter and olive oil in your written recipe. Also, you included evoo in your written recipe but was not mentioned in the video. What is EVOO?
