Definitely Oil of Oregano anytime I travel anywhere on a plane. Hope you both enjoy your time in Honduras!

Hello Kevin , I absolutely loved today’s show , you seem to hit the nail right in the center as it relates to me . I have been under the weather all day , I am just coming around , I am having a lot of trouble digesting raw sugar since I have gotten older. I had trouble with my stomach all day, and I know I probably needed something to kill the bad bacteria. I took loads of Garlic for years and the benefits were tremendous , and then I just couldnt tolerate it anymore and I tried eating it raw tablets capsules, etc. Well I read that Oregano is a good anti-fungal as well. I really enjoyed this show because you touched on just what I wanted to hear. I would love to see more shows dedicated to intestinal bad bacteria overload , some natural foods along with the oregano. Best wishes to you and your family.

One important supplement that you left out was probiotics to protect your immune system from any potential invadors. When I am traveling I also make sure to bring a shower filter incase of any exposure to toxic water being inhaled or consumed. To purify water, I have actually brought a small water purifier, but for emergency immediate need of water purification, I will bring Katadyn MicroPur water purifier tablets, available at Vitacost. Similarly you can use Nascent iodine to clean your water in a matter of five minutes. I also make sure to charge by body with a high dose of medicinal mushrooms to strengthen my immmune system. Since there is no guranntee that I will be staying somewhere where i will have immediate access to fresh produce, I will bring with me something like Living Fuel’s superfood powder or some other super food powder for nutritional insurance. Lastly, I will take some of Dr. Flannagan’s Megahydrate to neutralize the radiation from the plane ride, and also if I can’t get to any clean water right away. This supplement will prevent dehydration while serving as a powerful anitoxidant.
I hope that some of these tips may serve useful for someone on their way overseas. Hope you guys have fun!!

NCD–alkalizes the body really fast so that it’s almost impossible to stay sick should it happen.
AgariGold–strongest immune balancer. Use 5 drops daily to prevent illness. Wow! Could I tell a long travel story about this one!
Traumeel cream and drops–for injuries
Probiotic superfood to keep the bowels moving and strange food digested. Parasites don’t like healthy bowels.
–Rescue Remedy spray
–my water filter bottle
These are all really small and pack easy and none are affected by radiation, at least not much.
Tip for people who have ear problems with flying: Use one ampule of Otitis media by Heel 8 hours before flight, then again half an hour before take off. NO ear pain! I promise! Great for babies and children too.

I was also going to say that it would be cool if you started to do occasional shows, regualarly where you talk about and reccomend a new nutrionial supplement that you have found that has brought you good health or has outstanding ingrediants. So many people really respect and trust your opinion, including myself, and it would be cool to get an inside glimp at what products you use personally. Often when we see people at a peak level of performance at something, whether it be a sport, musician, or whatever field that we aspire to become good at, it is always so interesting to find out as much as possible that has led for an idividual to not only be successful but a master at their craft. I definitely see you and Annemarie as walking and talking examples of TRULY HEALTHY people. I know you guys already give so much of your hearts and time already, so I appreciate so much all that you do as is. But, maybe at some point it would be cool for you to let us all in on the products that have led you to greater success as health masters and authorites.

Do you still need to take digestive enzymes even if you only are eating raw plant food?

This is not an answer to the question, but I would like to know if any of these products are negativly affected when the baggage goes through the scanners at the airport. I took a few things on my cruise this fall but always wondered what was happening to them.

Grapefruit seed extract, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-viral. Put a few drops in any glass of water, instant water purifier. Also used by hospitals to disinfect while cleaning, instead of hamrful bleach.

Tea tree and lavender essential oils, Cell Food, activated charcoal, ginger (esp. for my pets) herbal laxative, shelf stable probiotics and pretty much everything you talked about. Also, xylitol nasal spray and usually some high quality green powder and Trad. Med. teas in various flavors. We travel with all this by car, RV, or plane. My favorite way to go is in the RV. My own food, sheets, and restroom…it is the best way to go here in America. Unless I’m flying I take a blender and an electric instant hot water pot. Ahh, I just re-read this post and it makes me long for my teens and twenties where all I took was a back pack or laundry basket of stuff whenever I traveled.

Tons of probiotics, vit C, water filter, colloidal silver, homeopathic first aid kit, echinacea and goldenseal tinctures, celtic sea salt

The only thing I take is Black Walnut. I start taking it before the trip, during the trip and for a day or so when I get home. Good for killing parasites. Enjoy your trip.

I like to bring oil of oregano as well as zinc if I’m traveling by plane. I’ve never gotten sick doing these things. Then again, everywhere I go there is garlic/ginger, and I’d probably take those things, too, if I thought they wouldn’t be there.
12:28 pm on January 23rd, 2009
I would also add to these ideas MMS – Miracle Mineral Supplement – especially for travel to AFrica, Central and South America and parts of Asia.

Hey Kev,
Why don’t you just bring a head of organic garlic in a lil baggie instead of Kyolic… wouldn’t it be so much more potent in its raw state? taking up the same space as a bottle would?
I have been fortunate enough not to get sick travelling through 3rd world countries, but if I were to bring something with me (or make an addition to your detox package:) it’d be colloidal silver.
Have a safe trip. Looking forward to next fresh episode, post Honduras.

I also take some ginger tinctures or capsules incase of any kind of stomach upset along the way. I also take some aloe vera for cuts and scrapes. GHC health has a truly amazing product called 02-zap, I have never found anything even close to it’s healing power on wounds or other skin infections, it heals it right up. I have also found that applying chlorella powder directly on wounds speeds up healing due to its growth factors and other nutrients. It’s important that when you travel you come prepared, from protecting your immune system to preventative measures taken incase you get minor injuries. The products that I reccomended up above are really helpful and can be life savers- well hopefully not literally, but can make a big difference in enjoyment throughtout your trip.

Hi Kevin and Annmarie,
If you haven’t got one then get
one: a water distiller. It produces
pure drinking water anywhere on
earth and is a benfit to your health.
Do not buy distilled water in plastic
bottles.
Happy trails! Steve

Hey Kevin,
Saw your show and just wanted to add that I always carry a little baggie of Dr. Schulze’s intestinal number 2 with me. It is activated charcoal, and often if I am traveling my stomach is upset from nerves or travel. It will settle a queasy stomach in 10-20 minutes and absorb any toxic material. I love it!

What I use when traveling (worked just fine in Egypt, Peru, Mexico) is SSKI drops in any water I use. We start taking them before boarding the plane, 1-2 drops in water, and then use the SSKI throughout our travels. I mostly eat raw, so I don’t avoid fresh fruits and veggies, which is what many people tell you to do. But it’s a good idea to buy bottled water for drinking, brushing teeth, etc.
Kevin, I do have a question for you. What do you know about Calcium Aspartate Anhydrous? Is it a better form of calcium to take? There is a product called EZorb that claims to be absorbed better than any other calcium on the market, but I’d like to hear an outside source’s information. Is this good stuff?
Enjoy your travels!

I travel often to Fiji and once picked up a potentially lethal parasite there. Now I use one of those ultra-violet ray “pencils” that you stir in the water for a minute or so. Works great. Is easy. Batteries last for a very long time. And on my last trip of one month I had no parasite problems.
8:32 pm on January 29th, 2009
i like to carry Activated Charcoal for food poisoning or chemical toxicity, Garlic; nature’s Sunshine VSC – to prevent viral problems, Artemisia combination to prevent parasite problems andSilver Shield for bacterial problems.

I haven’t traveled to any third world countries yet but I do pack a little travel kit when I go to my mom or dad’s house! They are both pretty cool about having veggies around for me but just in case I always bring:
1. Super-green food powder!!
2. Vegan DHA/EPA Blend
3. Coconut Oil
4. A jar of homemade RAW tahini dressing! I call it “Super-hero Sauce” and everyone always wants to try it!
5. Pollen
6. Avos
That usually keeps me pretty happy
Hope you guys are having a great trip!
Much Love and I can’t wait for you to come to OMAHA!!!!
Chel!
