A few of you had some questions about the chlorella tablets…
In this episode I address what they taste like, how to make the taste better, where you can start finding info on the health benefits of chlorophyll and more.
Of course, this is all from our new “home”
I also wanted to send out our wishes to Millie, who’s a viewer that recently has been diagnosed with cancer…

Hey Millie, I am so sorry to hear your news, I know that it can be devestating news. I should know because both of my parent’s actually were recently diagnosed with cancer. It was such a helpless feeling for my whole family for a while, but not long after,we became armed with natural therepys to conquer this cancer and heal in a whole body way. I really recomend that you get seen by a holistic naturapath during this difficult time. It can be the difference between night and day going with a natural approach verses being seen by a conventional doctor. I have to say that whole food supplements have made all the difference in the world with my parents. Garlic is by far the greatest botanical against cancer. They have also found great sucess with medicinal mushrooms, tumeric, green tea, MSM, Megahydrate, vitamineral green, Dr Ohhaira’s probiotics, Beauty Enzymes at Sunfood.com, antioxident complex, blue green algae, chlorella and Spiralina, rainforest herbs such as Graviola and cats claw, zeolites and dry skin brushing for detoxification, co q 10, green mussel lipids at Moxxor.com have been an amazing help, and some others. I just really urge you to seek out your own information and don’t go through with any treatment that doesn’t feel right to you. Listen to your insticts, they will guide you to the right path. Make sure to incoperate some form of meditation such as yoga, massage or anything that totally relaxes your body. Do not underestimate the power of laughter!!! Your frame of mind is so important, find ways to surround yourself with positive uplifting people. Prayer, is very important. And one last thing, try to vegtable juice as much as possible, I don’t know of anything more healing than the juice of plants. There are so many options and so many different directions to go, it can definetley seem overwhelming, but be easy on yourself, take lots of deep breaths. However you may have gotton cancer in the first place, nature has designed a way to heal yourself back to optimum health. Simply incoperate as much plant foods as possible, maybe some algae such as marine phytoplankton for the minerals that your body so desperetley needs and take lots of deep breaths. You can get through this!!

Hi Kevin & AnnaMarrie, You guys are truly Health Renegades, and I am with you in spirit on your RV crusade that is just rawesome! I think you may be able to speak to a spiritual group down here if you are going to be in the Florida area. My sentiments to Millie. Peace and Exuberant Daylight, David.

I believe I read that Spirulina has all the essential B vitamins. So is a raw vegan takes them…and Chlorella…they should be ok intheir B vitamin consumption. But, of course it would depend on how much they take/comsume of the spirulina.
And most importantly…Millie my heart, love and prayers go out to you at this time. I pray that the support of this wonderful group of people (that means all the members of Renegade Health as well as Kevin and Ann Marie) will help you as you travel this road. I pray it will be towards recovery.

Kevin (and AnnMarie),
I’m sooo jealous! RVing has been a dream of mine for years and I’ve always wanted to design one with alternative fuel. Unfortunately, my wife doesn’t share the dream and it’s literally her way or the highway (lol). Have you re-fueled yet? Just planning to stop in a restaurant and ask to pump out their grease pit? That would be really cool if that’s all it took. I’ve had a box of Chlorella “pills” for months that I never opened because the instructions just say “10 tablets daily with food.” Now that I know you can chew them, I’ll do it. Thanks. Looking forward to sharing your RV experiences with you (vicariously). Keep panning outside occasionally. It’s nice to see “non-touristy” parts of our great nation, even if they are from a highway.

Millie our thoughts and prayers are with you. Being a part of this group you should know that cancer is beatable and it will not control your life. Hi Millie,
Christa has pointed out some really good things to do. Also I have heard that apricot kernels reduce tumors if you take 5-8 of them a day. Check it out and make sure you are happy with that cos the official recommendations are 2! However, I have heard it said that this is not a healing dose.
Sugars not good, while all those deep green things, esp wheatgrass juice and chlorella and spirulina they say are great. The green powders taste disgusting, so I make up some cacao [choc powder, omega 3 oil and yacon syrup, with something like sesame seeds for texture - mix it in a bowl until you have a thick paste you can suck luxuriously off a spoon] It really masks the taste if you have the same problem as me!
Colonics are great too!
Sending you love and healing.

Millie, sending healing prayers your way~~~~~
Christa had a lot of great advice, but one thing I’d like to add is the importance of finding connection with nature, and keeping your treatments/medicine simple. Laughter, massage, and loving hugs from family members (things that make you feel warm and cozy) truly are some of the best “medicine”.
Blessings, Laura Sutton

I couldn’t do the survey because I could only answer YES! to the first question and am not in a position to answer the rest. It got me to thinking how I could get in the right position before you guys get close to south Louisiana. I would love to participate! My next thought was since you both love to hike it would be great to see a few shows from different regions of the country about wild edible foods to be found. An example would be to take a Harmony Hike with Sergie Boutenko in the Northeast. I know there is a guy in Florida who has a similar business but can’t think of his name. Just a thought!

Hi Millie.
After both of my parents passed from cancer, I vowed to read about and research ways to prevent and or cure Cancer. I know you too can learn a great deal of information and pick what is right for you, but without knowledge, you are at the mercy of another person who does not know your body like you do.
Dr. Robert Young, a microbiologist in the health food industry, says that any disease will thrive and grow in an acidic environment but die off in an alkaline PH balanced environment. I have heard this over and over from many other sources. Check it out… it can’t hurt and just might be the right way for you.
Love and Health during this difficult chapter.

Dear Millie,
I am sending you healing thoughts. If this can help in any way, in my short 32 years of life I’ve had open heart surgery as a child for a heart defect, was diagnosed with cervical cancer in my teens (that reversed) and in my early twenties I was diagnosed with a rare bone disease in my femur and told my chances of walking again were slim (I reversed that as well). What got me through those times of difficulty and uncertainty was concentrating on the outcome I wanted and all the people I would inspire in the process. I’ve been told many times that we are only given what we can handle. The larger the obstacle, the greater the strength we have to overcome it. It is in these times that we can find the beauty and magic that comes from within and what surrounds us. Anything is possible and poison can be change into medicine. Please take good care, surround yourself with as much positivity as possible and concentrate not only on healing, but that you’ll be even happier and healthier than you’ve ever been before.
Only the best to you,
Natasha

Hello Millie,
I agree with the many good ideas posted above. And I wanted to add that a very powerful herb to eliminate cancer and many other problems, including yeast and fungal problems, is pau d’arco tea.
There is much written on the internet about the qualities of pau d’arco. However, I have learned that the tea form is most effective. Apparently, the pau d’arco bark has to be simmered for about 20 minutes to release the active ingredients. Some pau d’arco sold in stores is not pure or not very potent.
Here is the source I use:
http://www.princetea.com/
Their pau d’arco is finely ground and makes a strong yet good tasting tea.
For more information about pau d’arco, here is a good site:
http://www.pau-d-arco.com/
I join with everyone here in affirming your fundamental power to heal yourself and to live a long, healthy, joyful life.
Aloha,
Michael Treeplanter

Millie, Here is your new mantra: Thank you for my healing. Say it often every day and say it with feeling. Drink warm soothing tea, sit quietly, and be grateful for your complete healing. I am confident you will regain radiant good health. Aren’t our bodies amazing? Also,I have heard many good things about Hallelujia Acres (sp?) as a healing retreat. Also Gabriel Cousens retreat, Tree of Life Rejuvination Center. Blessings.

Millie, I did forget to point out that cancer cells thrive on cancer. Make sure that you avoid sugar and other toxic processed food that you may be consuming, even in small amounts. My parent’s are picture perfect examples of “living in moderation,” this seems to be the conventional western advice-everything in moderation. However, those who reccomend this kind of advice fail to see that these toxins that we take in, over time accumulate at a pace too fast for our cells to overcome this free radical burden. We already have thousands of chemicals that we are exposed to in our environment that we have no control over. Our only fighting chance to overcome this burden, is by the choices we make regarding the food that we consume. I suggest that you maybe just sit down and really think about or write down all of the lifestyle choices that you make that may comprimise your health. And maybe when you are ready, you could take baby steps in trying to eliminate each toxic source, one at a time. So, for example, you could start by swiching your hair care products to more natural eco-friendly, and then switch your laundry detergent to a natural kind, when you are ready get a water filter for your house and switch from carrying around plastic water bottles to stainless steel or glass. Try to eliminate any microwave use or other positvely charged electromagentic occurances. Everything in gradual steps, at your pace. But I do think that it is important to identiy the largest contribution of your “health sin” and work on changing that bad habit into a good one. Just reshape your lifestyle to as healthful one as possible. There is a certain amount of empowerment that you can feel when you realize that you do have a say in your future, you can take steps to overcome any health challenge. I wish you only the best, my thoughts and prayers go out to you!
I also wanted to breifly touch on the importance in connecting to nature. The beauty and healing properties of our earth is unmatched in it’s healing ability. Try and put your feet on the grass as much as possible, the more you can spend outside the better. The earth is the greatest antioxadant, unparalled to any supplement. But it is important to go barefoot.

Millie, I am sending you well wishes from California!
1:54 am on January 7th, 2009
Millie,
I join in with the rest of these warm, loving and knowledgeable people in sending you healing energy.
The only possible treatment I could add to the lists already presented is an herb called artemisinin which has iron-binding properties and reacts with cancer cells, which are very iron hungry, and is said to destroy them. Something you could possibly research.
Breathe, Love and Laugh!
Namaste,
Susan

I am so 100% certain that you are going to reverse your cancer that I feel like it’s been done already! You can do it! Fix your eyes on that goal and don’t waver. I think the advice from other readers of this blog is spot on too, about going easy on yourself, being in touch with nature, etc. If you want to see an amazing story of a trained medical doctor who cured herself of deadly breast cancer (she was sent home to die) using completely natural means, check out http://www.drday.com. Hi Millie
Hope you find the right approach for yourself whatever that maybe. I’m new to raw foods so I am taking it one step at a time to try and cure chronic health problems, but I’m also thinking of trying the Gerson Therapy who have now opened a clinic in Hungary which would be easier for me to get too as I live in the uk. So here’s wishing you and your family all the best in your endeaver to get well.

Good Luck and Safety on your travels. Too bad you can’t drive to Israel to visit me!
Seems like most of the raw foods folks are young. Do you have any suggestions for older folks who are going raw, especially for joint pain and stiffness? I was taking glucosamine/chondroitin. Should I continue? It is not easy to get a lot of the supplements, chlorella, etc. here in Israel, and shipping costs a fortune. Besides, shouldn’t the whole raw foods be able to provide everything I need?
Thanks for your dedication to the health of the world!

Millie, I know you are bombarded by much advice about ways to heal your cancer. It is very confusing but my simple advice is to seek your inner wisdom for what is healing for you.
When i am feeling my body is out of balance i spend time in meditation, (prayer of the heart) practice simple yoga, eat lots and lots of organic fresh green salads.
My deepest prayers are with you, God Bless!

Hi!
Someone you should interview for your show is Dr. Richard Schulze http://www.herbdoc.com .He is fabulous. He has a program called “there are no incurable diseases” and if you detox your body you can cure anything. Your body then can fight the cancer etc rather than all the toxins that are in our systems from everything out there and the junk we put in our bodies.
Love & light, Nancy

Dear Millie,
With my mother a survivor of breast cancer, I wanted to share some of the tips that have made all of the world of difference for her. From the very beginning she sought out different doctor’s to get different opinions to seek out the best route for her. She went to three different doctor’s before seddling on a holistic cancer specialist team. There was an entirely different feeling when she went to the naturapath, they gave her warmth and hope. This was something that was very lacking when speaking with the western doctors. They had more of a one size fits all approach- chemo being virtually the only way to go. In my mother’s heart, she knew that this wasn’t right for her. She decided to obstain from chemotherepy and enriched her life with many different natural therepys. She drank lots of Essiac tea which is a known “cancer tea,” full of blood and liver cleansing herbs. She recieved colonics treatments and started introducing many superfoods that gave her mounds of energy. Some of these included: bee pollen, aloe vera, raw cacao, maca, purple corn extract, gogi berries and acai. She included lots of camu camu berry for the vitamin C and anti-viral properites. All of these foods are super concetrated with antioxidants and minerals.
She started eating as many seed-rich fruits as possible for the B17 that was lacking and the unique nutritional properties that the seeds posses. Another great thing that she did was introduce a new fruit or vegtable to her diet each time that she went to the grocery store, this way she could try somehthing new while getting a full spectrum antioxidant variety.
She bought a Zapper to help with some of her pain. The Zapper is a really cool device that has the ability to send many negatively charged electrical currents that flow through your body, that other treatments cannot reach. It’s a really cool invention that my mother has had great success with.
It’s been noted that over 75% of breast cancer paitents are iodine deficient, so she began including many iodine rich foods such as sea vegtables and algae. She now eats lots of Dulse and kelp. She also eats the vegtable watercress, which is the only leafy land vegtable that actually contains iodine and a whole host of other nutrients.
My mother’s doctor reccommended that she include as much tumeric as possible, there have been many studies showing the effectiveness of tumeric with cancer. If you add black pepper to the tumeric it increases it’s absorbtion and potency by 1000%. That’s pretty incredible. She also drinks lots of green tea and eats lots of garlic. These foods are very anti-cancer. And lots and lots of greens!! A huge contributor to cancer is a chronic state of acidosis from years of eating high inflammatory acidic processed foods. Greens and medicinal mushrooms and other herbs are of the most alkaline foods to help your body return to a normal state.
She purchased a rebounder which is a great tool to use to get your circulation going which is key. It is also highly beneficial in getting your heart rate up. It’s easy to use and convenient. It’s also a great way to drain your lympahtic system, seeing how a congested lymph system is often associated in cancer. No matter how many supplements or even healthy foods that you eat, it is still very important to exercise and move. Your body needs this circulation in help with detoxing. An infared sauna is also a great tool for detox and relaxation.
I wanted to point out a couple more things, to give you some ideas. My mom found tremendous success with these nanotechnology patches. They are made by LifeWave nanotechnology. The man who created these was a brilliant doctor who received an honory doctorate from the Internatinal Hall Of Fame and specialised in enery production technologys for both the military and commerical applications, and went on to construct metal combustion rocket engines. So he is a smart man. I give you this background so you kind of understand that these patches are an amazing development. These pathches that you apply use your own body heat to access light. You place the patches on meridians in your body to stimualte accupunture points which then trigger the patch to start reflecting the wavelenghts of light that trigger the cells in your body to make glutathione or whichever patch that you choose to where. They have a sleep patch, a detoxification, weight loss, energy and I think a few others. I have used them myself, they are nothing short of miraculous.
The last and final thing that I wanted to mention was the MRS-2000+. There are a few different amazing things that you can choose from. But I’ll explain to you exactly what it is by using David Wolfe’s description of this, in his words. “The MRS-2000+ is a magnetic Resonance Technology from Germany that accelerates healing. This device has two attachements(the cushion and the probe) that produce a similar waveform to the Zapper except its magnetic instead of electric. It’s design is to increase oxygenation and nutrition of every cell and tune our bodies in to the Earth’s natural magnetic field. The natural Earth freguencies stimulate cells in your body to work more efficiently and gently ease your body homeostasis.” So basically it combats or neutralizes the harmful electromagentic forces that impair our ability to heal our immune systems. Examples of this negative force include: computers, mirowaves, cell phones, x rays, T.V.s, alarm clocks-etc. We are all exposed to this radiation in some form or another. The MRS-2000+ is a way to replenish our bodies by returning them to a optimal state of function. Infact by using the matteress,or bed sheets or whatever that you use, it increases your oxygen and other nutrients up to 200% or more. This is another great tool to use when your are faced with a chronic disease. I urge you to read David Wolfe’s “The Superimmune tonic System,” it’s crazy informative. Just google it and you will find some important exerpts from his book.
Also, do not negate the importance of deep restful sleep. Try to de-stress as much as possible creating a bed time routine that can aid in a healthy sleep environment.
Sorry for going on and on, this is a subject that is near and dear to my heart. If there is any way for me to help, I will definetely do so. I hope that you find some of this information interesting if anything. Good luck in your journey, you will be amazed at how much strength that already resides in you. I will pray for you.

Hey girlfriend! I know exactly how you feel! I was diagnosed with Breast cancer 3 years ago and it changed my life but the first few weeks were rough! Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions I and will do my best to help out. Until recently I worked for Whole Foods and people from different departments sent customers who were newly diagnosed to talk to me. Networking this way is my way of giving back! When I was first diagnosed the most helpful thing people could say to me was ” don’t worry you’ll be ok.” Remember Cancer is a word and not a sentence and I have tons of information in the form of books, and websites that can empower you. Please keep me in mind if you need someone to talk to. Sending tons of hugs and if you would like some reiki as well! Blessings Jayne

Kevin and Ann Marie! The more I think of it the more I think I would love for you to meet with the folks at Common Ground Cafe in Lower Mills Dorchester Massachusetts. I would love to meet you if you decide to stop there. Not only is the set up in this place phenominal, there is health all around from the food they prepare to their unusual decorum. In the dreary days of winter here in New England it’s as though you are being transported back in time when you walk through the door. The place is a cross between a midevil inn and a Hobbit village. There’s a juice bar where wheat grass is served and the owners used fresh organic food whenever possible. The little store that is part of the restaurant sells a lot of things I have a hard time finding anywhere else. It’s the only place right in Boston that sells raw olives! Next time I go I will ask if it’s alright to take some pictures to send to you! Take Care Jayne p.s. are you going to name your RV? Why not it will give her a little character and she is your home for a while!

Dear Bernadette, sorry about the first sentence, it obviously didn’t make any sence. What I meant was that cancer cells thrive on sugar. So by eliminating sugar, you decrease the acidity that so many cancer victims often are in: a state of acidosis. By Increasing your greens intake you become more alkaline and a whole lot more balanced, thus the cancer cells will die off since they don’t have any sugar to attach to and mulipy thier strength.

Your ride looks fun!
I wanted to just email about the puppy…our vet told us to never give our dog dairy, that dogs can’t handle it properly. Don’t know more than that, but wanted to just post this in case there is some place to research dogs/puppies avoiding dairy?

I am using many of the techniques that Christa mentioned to beat my lump. “The Cancer Recovery Guide” by Jonathan Chamberlain is my bible in my journey. Also MMS as developed by Jim Humble is said to help. I am starting it today. I have just had a week of therapy using various things to connect me with Soul and to get my regulating system working again – Advanced Tachyon Technologies tools, Thought Field Therapy, Empower and a gong have been really helpful in taking me forward. I was also reading “The Isaah Effect” by Gregg Braden while I was away from home. (I live in England.)

My love and good wishes.
