Yes, there is such a thing as garlic ice cream…
We found out (second hand) what it tasted like yesterday at the Saugerties, NY Garlic Festival.
We also found garlic caramel, garlic fudge, deep fried garlic, and more.
I also learned that there are a bunch of different varieties that I didn’t know existed.
Take a look now…

mmmmmmm!
I LOVE GARLIC too buddy!
Down at the farmer’s market I recently bought some really great Garlic Spice Mixes, a bunch of Scapes, and my wife Trinity bought two different types of Garlic Jellies (Red Pepper Carlic Jelly and Rosemary Ginger Garlic Jelly).
I also take those Garlic Extract pills that you recommended to me some time ago.
Yummy stuff!
Thanks for sharing that footage Kevin,

Garlic is the best antibiotic in the holistic industry and in the world. no side effects, well, maybe you have to get used to the smell, but that goes away also.
Garlic and cayenne pepper on a bowl of kidney beans and you have the best Chile in the world.

What about a garlic candle? You can disinfect the room that way when someone is sick.

What fun!!! I think I would have sampled some of that stuff, too, even though it wasn’t raw! I love garlic! Sampling the different varieties of fresh garlic looked like so much fun!
For an idea, what about homemade garlic soap? Was anyone selling any of that?
Tomorrow is your big day!!!!!! I wishing you LOTS of success with it and I’m looking forward to hearing you unveil it!
Lots and lots of love to you and Annmarie!

My weirdest garlic concoction had to be my garlic tomato juice. Last summer, I was on a 100 day detox fast to heal my body and get rid of years of medications I had been on before changing my eating to raw and whole foods. While I truly love to eat tomatoes and do so daily, you cannot sneak tomatoes in my juice. I can’t stand juiced tomatoes. Weird, huh? Well, all of a sudden, about 2/3rds of the way through the fast, I was CRAVING tomato juice and wanted it with OBSCENE AMOUNTS of garlic in it. I went through 4-20lb boxes of tomatoes and I don’t know how many heads of garlic! I was drinking a gallon of tomtato juice with a half a head of garlic in it a day. God, I stunk! It was sick. My friends, dr. and husband couldn’t get over how strong it was and I COULD NOT get enough of it. It sent me into an amazing healing crisis where I burned a fever and had sick green stuff gushing out of my nose off and on for 3 wks. Sorry, but it’s true. I was convinced I had a terrible sinus infection but my dr. & another close friend were convinced it was a healing crisis. I’d suffered with terrible allergies and had LOTS of the chronic sinus infections over the past 10 yrs. They felt that all the anti-hystamine sprays I had used to hold all that stuff up there in the past were finally being released and flushed out. Well, the high vitamin C of the tomatoes and intense anti-viral, anti-microbial, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal properties of all that garlic did the trick and got me through. It stopped as suddenly as it started and I’ve not had any sign of any nasal problem or sinus infection since and have been completely med free for over a year. So I’m very thankful I listened to my body and had a great dr., husband and friends to support me. Hope this helps someone out there. It’s the only reason I shared all this!

awesome. We have the Gilroy garlic festival every July here in CA. Garlic ice cream really wasn’t too bad. It’s more of an after taste than anything else. Glad to hear you had a good time!

Interesting and fun! What about garlic aromatherapy oil? Would be great for cold, flu season.
Would love to know if grandpa’s garlic farm had a website or address. Would love to access different kinds of garlic and grown in North America to grow myself. Now days the only garlic found in the grocery store is from China.
Love your show

One time when working in a raw food kitchen, the owner and I were making cacao bars and thought, what couldn’t you eat with chocolate, so we tried garlic dipped in melted cacao..ewww
It was so gross that I actually felt sick afterwards for a bit.

I can’t think of any crazy things off the top of my head, likely because I just started really eating garlic again.
I have had garlic icecream at a past garlic fest, and might have to try it in a few weeks when I hit the CT garlic fest(http://www.garlicfestct.com/). My body can handle dairy much better than the other fried choices they often serve there!

It’s 1:40pm Tuesday in Colorado and I still don’t see anything on your site. See how much excitement you guys generate? How will I wait until the 19th??? Thanks for doing all you do!

Hi there, my boss, a nutritionist, came up with this concoction. Take manna bread, we used the pre-made one by Nature’s Path (there are lots of flavors, we used the whole rye). Put a small amount of coconut oil on it (or skip that part), then a generous amount of pumpkin seed butter, we like Omega Nutrition, then put strawberry jam on that, we like St. Dalfour and then…. pressed fresh, raw garlic on top of that. The first time I saw it I thought it looked gross, then I was hooked and ate it for about 3 straight weeks every morning. I more often now eat that same thing but without the strawberry jam. Either way, it’s sooooo good! At certain times it just really hits the spot, as strange as that may sound.
