This title kind of speaks for itself…
What do you think?
I also address the difference between wheatgrass powders and fresh wheatgrass juice, find some wild grapes, talk about the garlic mustard plant and more!
Take a look…

Hey Kevin. I dont have a business or product yet, but I wanted to ask how people in the business of selling information products, be it books, ebooks, dvds, cds, etc… how do the creators handle or account for piracy or “file sharing”. I know this happens a LOT with music, software, and movies. As a creator who depends on the continual sales of their products, is there anything you can do to protect that information from being passed around for free on the web, or do you just hope for the best?
Also, aside from slowly building your email list, and viewership, what would someone who were to have written an ebook or made a rawfood prep dvd do in order to market their product effectively?
Thanks Kevin.

Hello Kevin,
I have been watching your show religiously every wednesday.I love it! Thank you for your dedication and efforts.
I have been on a raw food diet for two years now.My true passion is alternative medicine and gourmet food preparation.I have been working on taking Raw Food Cuisine to the next level- making it palatable and very presentable to appeal to anybody. My goal is to open a Gourmet Raw Food Restaurant and Bar
in Toronto, Ontario.
After having a Mobile Wellness Clinic and a Spa for 12 years I decided to challenge myself and temporally change my carrier to Investments in Land Development and Real Estate in Alberta, Canada.
This allows me to build a substential capital
in a short time (3 to 5 years)to follow my dreams, stay raw and healthy and help others to do the same.

Hi Kevin,
thanks for your shows. Could you talk more about the life spirit in Sedona ? specially about minerals & salt absorption.
How could I complement my professional life with my hobby. I am a Postdoc Researcher at the medical University in Portland Oregon (OHSU) and learn almost each day something new in my research field (Virology) and in other medical researchs (yesterday with a forum of Stem cell in clinical tries). However I feel it is not my finally field. My two big hobbies are cycling and nutrition/Food cooking. Since 3 years I become vegan and become so excited to learn about the real nutrition at the scientifical level. However it is only on my free time without official education in nutrition. Cooking is my favorite work at home. The seconde hobby is competition of cycling. Living in Portland OR is wonderful for me because I am able to race a lot around the city: 70-80 competitions per years.
To make living with medical science, cycling and nutrition is at this moment just a real dream. This position don’t exist yet, but I am working on it to get the right education, become the expert before I can live from it. Specially if I come back to France: it could be a big challenge with the few vegetarians, but it is a future market without many such experts .
My friends in vegetarian community are very excited about my dream. Should I create my own Institute in France ? Financing is quite scarry otherside.
What do you think about my project ?
thanks for all comments
Jerome

There are a number of free, easy options online to market your business. Just recently I have been using Traffic or Ad Exchanges. One of the best ones I have found is: http://www.trafficera.com/?ref=rawbill
I have also played around with building Squidoo pages. http://www.squidoo.com/lensmaster/referral/RawBill
The other great way to network and market yourself is to join Raw Food groups on social networking sites such as Twitter, Facebook and Myspace.
Hope this helps…Bill.

HI KEVIN,
I have always had a passion for personal growth and developement.
I have spent 4 years looking for a home business that I can do on the internet. I have finally found one that has great personal delopement products with an awesome compensation plan. It’s not MLM, but I don’t know how to get the word out without sounding like an annoying network marketer!

Interesting 20/20 reports admittedly slanted toward the 2 cases of–how do I say it without being judgmental–extreme “unhealthy” effects of a basically healthy lifestyle.
Like to have seen a more balanced and impartial– say 50/50 of the “pro and cons” (again being judgmental) or just the facts as far as we know them about raw vs.cooked, for example–i.e. costs, time required, studies of health effects, etc.
Thanks, Kevin to being a great clearinghouse to many focused health resources of interest to your viewers–things I’d never have known about had I not tuned into your show.
I like your relaxed “in the woods” episode–as always you were able to be “more yourself” while still putting out a professionally entertaining report.

p.s. As for business and marketing, I’m new to all of that. I have the free raw directory service that I created for everyone and I don’t know how to get the news out there for everyone to find out about it.
I’m going to check out the TrafficEra that someone posted, above. Raw foods is such a specialized area, however, that marketing to the general public may not be a wise choice for time spent (unless you are spreading the message of the health benefits of the diet for those eating SAD, of course).
Lots of love to you,
Wendi

Awesome show – really into native plants and weeds and wanted to pick that mustard garlic you showed us! I am homebound from serious injuries and NEED to get some income.
I have two questions for you or your viewers:
1. How can I sell some original artwork done by my father who was an author artist of some 45 books on mostly fishing (trout etc)or make prints?
2. I make unique “sea art” ex: candles, jewelry and shell related items. I’ve heard of Etsy, any other suggestions?
Thanks, Roseanna

I would like to hear how some people transitioned out of traditional career area into doing what they loved. I hear it was difficult but worth it. Are there some good references on how others’s made this transition that would help the rest of us find the way a bit easier.
Loved your show, it is very relaxing just watching you walk through the forest area. It helps remind us how nice just getting out to go for a walk is.
Love, Light, and Peace,
Cheryl

Hello, Everyone,
I am very interested in becoming a nutrition counselor, but I’m having trouble finding a school with which to get certified. I’ve been on line and done the Google thing, but the task is becoming daunting.
Has anyone had any experience with the Global College of Natural Medicine (GCNM)? Does anyone have any other recommendations?

Kevin,
Love, love, love the show – wish I would have thought of the idea!
I have been transitioning over the last few years from the corporate world into health/fitness/wellness field and my biggest challenge is letting go of fears, getting creative and going for it. I teach yoga, recently got certified as a personal trainer and also offer welleness/lifestayle coaching.
I miss having camaraderie and working and creating and part of a team. Sometimes it’s just not as fun (not to mention scary) to launch things by yourself. It’s great you and Annmarie have each other. I have wonderful support in my boyfriend and friends, but I really wish sometimes I was part of a company that really helped people believe that they can be, do or have anything they want. A company with the same standards of ethics and integrity as my own. Maybe I’ll build my current business up to that!
I have a lot of respect for what you and Annmarie are doing and would love to meet you next time I’m on the East Coast (I live in Southern California now).

What I need to run my business/hobby/life is energy. I have none. I am feeling better since I am eating more raw foods but the energy part has not come yet.
Kevin, you live in a beautiful place.

Elizabeth DeJager and others…
I have an opportunity for health-oriented people, like yourselves, to get involved with right now before the product is even launched in the US! It is going to be backed by a HUGE name in the natural health industry. I am looking for highly motivated individuals who are interested in creating abundant health and wealth while practicing “the” 7 principles of mindful wealth. If you are sincerely interested, send me an email at sabione at gmail dot com.

Dear Kevin,
It’s a testament to your integrity and your dedication to the mission of the Renegade Health Show to include the link to the 20/20 episode on your blog. I applaud you for not turning away from controversy or being afraid to shine the light on the very real problem of addiction in it’s many forms.
Unfortunately, Victor is no rhetorical match for Stossel or the editing team of NBC or CBS or whoever produces 20/20. Those of us who have changed our lives for the better because of Victor’s books and mission know the truth about his work. It is unfortunate that 20/20 decided to use the raw food movement as a catalyst to expose a serious issue. Eating disorders and addictions can manifest in the most benign circumstances. All of us should be willing to speak up and help a friend who becomes imbalanced in their quest for perfect health.

I was disappointed with the 20/20 airing. I think Victor could have been more strong when he interviewed – there is so much evidence backing on the raw food diet that he didn’t share – or perhaps I am mistaken and NBC didn’t show all of the interview. I think someone more charismatic could have handled the interview better, it is the tv network’s job to play devil’s advocate and its the interviewees job to remain composed and stay true to the information. It is a lot harder said then done, it is rare for someone to have the knowledge and experience and be able to also be a TV personality as well.
