I take probiotics regularly while using a simple wart-killing band-aid from Dr. Scholls. Worked like a charm for me on 3 different occasions.

Re: getting rid of warts
I can't remember how I heard about this, but I tried it and it works . . .
I had two small warts for about three years on two cuticles, and when I was nursing my daughter I would apply my breast milk to them. Took about six weeks for them to disappear! I've heard colostrum works even better, but I was already about six months into nursing, so no such luck.
So if you can find a generous and accomodating nursing mom . . .!

When my daughter was small she had warts on her fingers. I used a bandage to keep out all air and only left a small area to drop in castor oil on a regular basis. In a few days, the warts were gone.

Good show.
I have a couple warts, but not in places where they bother, so I just don't worry about them.
Have a good time at the Expo. Be sure to tell those organic growers to be sure their crops are not Genetically Modified. You might address the issue of GM foods on some future show.

Hi Kevin,

My sister had a goiter when she was about 2 yrs. old. My mom, who is an herbalist and iridologist, started giving her kelp and the goiter went away. (And we got on the cover of "Let's Live magazine with the before & after pics!)

I have had hypothyroidism all my life (genetic) and I can recommend a couple of iodine supplements and taking kelp supplements. One of the liquid iodine supplements is called Detoxified Iodine formulate by Edgar Cayce. The other is an iodine called Magnascent Iodine which I think is similiar to Cayce's but I don't know what the difference is between them. All I know is that they work. Another fantasitic supplement is called Metabolic Advantage Thyroid Formula by enzymatictherapy.com This formula is NOT vegan or vegetarian so buyer beware--except that it works like magic.

LOL,

My little brother, when he was just a child, intuitively developed his own accidental/ experimental concoction to get rid of warts on his hands. One of the ingredients was the white liquid from a bloomed dandilion. It worked! We always thought it was magic, but now that I've been going on a few foraging expeditions, I'm learning it's simply herbal medicine. Thanks for reminding me - I wonder whether I should tell my brother it wasn't magic after all.

In college, I had a plantar wart burnt/ cauterized off at the student health center. It worked, but if I had it to do again, I would definitely try all these natural cures first.

I know someone who ground up garlic and put it on their wart with duct tape over it. Make sure you put vitamin e oil around the wart to prevent the garlic from making the skin around it hurt. Just put it on every night until the wart is gone.

most of the remedies above seem better than this one, but here is my experience.
i had a plantar's wart that 'i tried everything'-really - to get rid of, for 2 years...i even talked to it.
in desperation, i bought dr scholl's plantars wart medicine kit from the drugstore and used it that night - the next morning , that plantars wart had grown 10 times in size! - NEVER USE DR SCHOLL'S!!!! so, finally, in the 3rd year, i got the idea to use hydrogen peroxide on it. i appled peroxide to it twice daily for 3 months - and i would put a small bandaid with peroxide on the pad on it while i was at work - and it began to dry up and shrink slowly, and then it shrivelled up and left. it was like a miracle.
so, i highly recommend you at least try peroxide. if you use food grade peroxide, water it down enough so that it is just warm to the touch before applying.
i appreciate reading all these cure experiences - good to know!
