The superbug is back…
Clostridium difficile (C. diff), which no one can really agree on how this is pronounced, is back in the news. Recently 260 people have died in Ontario hospitals because of it or indirectly from infection.
This is something to be concerned about because it is resistant to antibiotics. Yikes!
So this show will tell you more about C. diff as well as give you a protocol that you can take to identify a candida or digestive issue and the steps that you can take to clear it up!
Go ahead and watch it now…

PS. Today we did a TV spot at the local grocery store and talked about healthier choices for the majority of people. It’s fun getting back the basics, because at least there, there is some resolution as to what definitively works and what does not. Don’t get yourself too worked up about the food you’re eating. Relax a bit, enjoy and make the best choices you possibly can. That’s some sound advice!
If you want a 7 step system, then you can check out our “7 Steps to Optimal Health Program”… it’s easy to follow and covers many of the major issues we deal with when it comes to food and exercise. It’s 4 hours of information that can transform your views on health and wellness… click here to read more!

Here in southern California it will likely be sun not rain. After my run or walk, I do my daily reading sitting outside in the sun
Will read whatever book on health is currently on my desk. Along with exercising my brain, I am getting my daily dose of Vitamin D!

You’ll catch me out walking. I try to get in 5 miles a day – often spread out; 3 miles in the morning and two in the evening.
The morning walk is a sure-fire Vit D re-stocking time! Especially here in Florida!

THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE INFO ON C-DIFF. MY BST FIREND;S PARTNER ALMOST DIED FROM C-DIFF JUST OVER A YEAR AGO. SHE GOT IT IN A HOSPITAL. IT TOOK OVER 6 MONTHS TO CURE – AND HOLISTIC ‘MEDS’ WERE THE ONLY CURE. SHE TOOK LOTTTS OF PROBIOTICS. AND AN HERBALIST REALLY HELPED WITH THE HERBAL PROTOCOLS. THIS IS SCARY STUFF!!

hi Kevin…
thisis for your information …..
you grossly understated the seriousness of c-dif. my friend got c-dif from taking an antibiotic for pneumonia that killed all the good flora in her colon. after 3 hospital stays and a nursing home for six months taking mega doses of 2 different expensive antibiotic she was continuing not to get any better and going down hill toward death. not only the c-dif but the damage to her body from these killed antibiotics, i realized i had to find some other way to get her well. i must say here there is no doubt when you have c-dif!! it grows massive amounts of a jelly like substance which is full of spores and is massively contagious.
through all of her 6 months i was giving her 30 high quality probiotics daily and using other natural and taking them to the hospital daily with out the hospital knowing. her doctor way having them administer probiotic enemas several time a day. and they were also giving her probiotics but mine were of much higher quality. long long story here but after 6 months we began working with an herbalist and i found a product made from
the allicin in garlic that got her well..
that was 2 years ago and to this day when she gets sick mostly with pneumonia she takes the garlic product ( much much much more then just taking garlic) and will never take antibiotic again. this product gets rid of so many things and i would be glad to help
refer anyone to were to purchase it.
thisis a very serious problem and should not be taken lightly or thought by taking probiotic or diet or more antibiotic
that the person will get well. do you know that c-dif can live in dirt for years until it is disturbed and what if it is disturbed by animals feeding and gets into a meat source?
i have read where it can!!! i am not sure i have stated this to help anyone who gets or knows of anyone who gets this awful nasty disease but i have tried!! we will never live with out this product in our home. i took it last fall for h-pylori along with manuka honey and some pre and probiotics instead of
the masive antibiotic they wanted me on and the h-pylori is gone.. and i have refered it people with limes disease and are doing great
go to http://www.allimax.us
the produce should be kept in the fridge and has a shelf life is several years.

Hey Kevin,
Question for you. I didn’t get this in when you covered this subject, but I just discovered this. I don’t know if you covered this. Ok, I notice that on organic products where the the organic symbol is, there are two different colors used. On some the round oragnic symbol has black on the bottom and the rim around the circle is black, on others the bottom is green and the rim around the circle is brown. Any ideas what that means?
Thanks,
Cindy

Linda-
Please send me info re: garlic product.
Am also curious: what per/probiotics were you using?
I had a yeast infestation that caused innumerable problems (including 40 years of obesity) — microbes are just nasty, and fungi is worse than bacteria because the docs don’t believe in Candida and the symptoms are so varied and the combinations of symptoms defy diagnosis.
Aynone out there suffering from the symptoms (you can find them at BeautyAndTheYeastBeast.com) please read through the site and see if I can be of help to you.
Thanks in advance for the info, Linda.

Thank you Kevin for the info, and also Linda for the info on allicin. I would also like to know what pre/probiotics you found useful.
Hi Annemarie.. Unfortunately, it is raining here today, so I will get out tomorrow if it is sunny. Will be spending the day indoors with my 4 lovely cats. Was nice hearing yours yesterday in the video. I think cats are wonderful!!

Probably go running…that’s what I generally do, especially if the weather is nice. Running in the rain isn’t quite as fun, but rarely in Manchester do we get a day without rain…baaah.
I also have to find time to go on my weekly foraging trip as I am out of green things to eat minus a head of green cabbage I bought today at reduced to clear prices. I’m late on responding to your videos, but I watch them all. Sometimes I am working all day and play catch-up with all the videos a few days later…but I do enjoy them and am glad you are providing all of this wonderful information for free. In case I haven’t said that already! I wanted to also mention that I’m done working at bars. One of your episodes a while back perhaps subconsciously prompted this…it was an episode to which I remember responding that I couldn’t control the people at work and that environment, etc…I’ve switched jobs now. Paying jobs, that is. I work an unpaid music therapy internship and do a variety of other things on the side…for example, music gigs since I’m a performing musician and all that…
PS – There is some massive cycling convention thingy going on….it’s crossed my path a couple of times while I was out today. Anyone in the UK know what on earth is going on here?

OMG…. I had to mention the Reese’s Breakfast cereal. My co-worker actually eats that for breakfast. She also still eats “white” bread! She is always complaining that she needs to exercise and lose weight. I have tried to enlighten her but have not been successful. She thinks I am crazy how I eat and that I buy organic. I have since given up trying to share all the wonderful information you and AnnMarie have taught us. In the case of my co-worker… You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make them drink

Hi Kevin and Annmarie,
Yesterday was a more sunny day, so I went out for a walk to Chapters. They were having a 20% off sale for members and that always motivates me to go outside. I got a few interesting books too.. The Hundred Year Lie, and The 125 Best Vegan Recipes. When I stayed home the day before, I also found a great ebook on Byron Richards site, called Fight for Your Health, which is free to anyone who would like to read it on the internet… a very mind provoking topic. Hope you’re having a great weekend.

I have a 12 year old son who is in the hospital now and was diagnosed with c diff this afternoon. He has been taking probiotics daily for the past few weeks, he is very anemic. I just walked in the house after this hard day to find this episode today. I will let you know what happens next.
