Is instant flexibility possible?

All you have to do is watch and find out…

I learned these little flexibility tricks from Giles Wiley, they use trigger points as well as visualization to loosen up your muscles instead of wasting your time with boring static stretching.

Still don’t believe me? Watch and see how I loosen up my hamstrings in about a 50 seconds. :-)

Your question of the day: What are you doing for Mother’s Day?

Mother’s Day has been a tradition of getting together as a family and sitting around the dinner table eating food the guys have attempted to prepare. We all make homemade cards and write a little note inside. This year my gift is a garden and taking care of all the weeding duties…I don’t know what I got myself into.

Trigger points to increase flexibility didn’t work for me. At all. Enjoy your shows though.

What a neat trick Kevin! Thank you so much for sharing. I tried it and it really works for me! I like this much better than the boring static stretches. Will incorporate this to the beginning of my exercise routine! Thanks again Kevin! You’re awesome!

    Hi Kevin and Annmarie,

That trigger point technique was amazing. I will continue to use that from now on. Great fitness friday tip!

For Mother’s day this year, I will not get to see my Mom. She lives in FL and I’m in NY. So I sent her some beautiful roses from Organic Style. It’s the first time I’ve used an organic florist and I wasn’t sure what to expect. She just called and said they are spectacular!

Here’s hoping that your Mother allows you to tape your raw dinner. I’d love to see what you prepare. Have a wonderful weekend!

    Hey Kev & Annmarie!
Well, I’m a mom to 3 very cool cuties….ages 5, 4 & 2. So, I may be getting breakfast in bed (love that!). Then, we’re going to my parents’ in the afternoon for a swim and some food! Looking forward to the day! Have fun, and would love to see a video of your dinner with your parents!

My teenage daughters are preparing a vegan brunch for my mom and I. The menu is a secret, but the challenge will be how they will please their grandparents and dad while remaining vegan. As my dad fondly likes to say “we never know what we’re going to get when we come here.”

    Kevin,

Me and my fiance Ellen are taking her mother out bowling with her 2 brothers and sister-in-law. After that, we are going to go back to her mothers house and have some snacks, maybe even one of the Organic Food Bars I just received in the mail the other day. Absolutely delicious and good for you, 75% raw. Good stuff. How about you and Annmarie? Hope you have a great weekend and Mothers Day!

    Hi Kevin and Annmarie.
Great way to loosen those muscles.
I used to make dinner for my mother in law but now she is gone. But I still have a daughter and daughter in law that I cook for. Of course now they will get more raw foods than cooked sorry kids that’s my life now.
    Bye for now Louise

    Hey Kevin!

That was great. I’m not flexible at all, and I could defiantly notice a difference! What was funny was my little sister was watching and doing the warm up with me, and she could touch the floor even before the warm up! She also showed me how she could lye on her stomach and then touch her toes to the top of her head. Show off :) !

What am I doing for Mother’s Day? That is a very good question . . . I might steal your raw meal idea. He he

    Hi Kevin,
I just wanted to let you know that I DO enjoy your show, but this one and the Friday one ones are not for me.
I appreciate your efforts and that you are trying to reach “all types” and their vary interests, so it seems right, even though that these are “not mine”.
Keep up with the good work. If I don’t like it, I’ll “pass”. I don’t have to watch them all.
    Thank you so much,Louann

It’s not Mother’s day here in London, but Since my mother’s just got her first full time job as a nurse, I’ve ordered a skip, and set aside a week to sort the entire house (last year of living at home).

I am doing something for MYSELF this Mother’s Day! My mom has been gone for 16 years due to bad eating/bad health and I am NOT following in those footsteps! I also raise 2 Teenage boys alone and Mother’s Day doesn’t get the attention that it should so! My Girlfriends and I are Scooting out of the house for the first part of the day and we are going to a Brunch. They will be eating all the traditional stuff and yours truly will be hitting the GINORMOUS 50 Foot Fruit and veggie spread YEAH! So Happy Mother’s Day to me I did it another year and this one is better than the last cuz of RAW!

I am 8 months pregnant and tried to do the trigger point massage under my ribs….doesn’t work when there is a baby in there! I will try it after I deliver. Looks cool.

Mothers day this year will be making those loving calls to all the moms that are close to me. Unfortunately they live far away so we don’t have brunch plans or anything like that. I will probably just relax and maybe take a nice walk and enjoy my last Mother’s day as a “non-mom”!!

    Thanks!
    Shandi

    Hi Kevin!
Thanks for the stretching tip. It works great!

For Mother’s Day I sent Jacquie Lawson e-cards to all of my friends who are mothers.
Anyone who sends e-cards, might like to ck-out her site: http://www.jacquielawson.com. Her creations are beautiful. Will be spending the day with my brother at Indianapolis 500 Time Trials. I’m a big Danica Patrick fan.

As always, thanks for all you and Annmarie share on the Renegade Health Show. I’m looking forward to seeing a complete raw meal preparation.

    Have a great Sunday!

    Worked like a charm ! Thanks !!!
I will be taking my annual gardening supply trip to the nursery and doing some work around the house and potting shed (hopefully with the help of my husband and youngest son) while waiting for my recently married son and his wife to arrive for a visit and for my Daughter to call from California for a chat.I will also carve out time to call my mom and grandma in Las vegas and then go to the nursing home to visit my mother in law.

Today is Mother’s Day and I will be celebrating my mom. This is our first year without her, for she had diabetes with all of its complications, but through her struggles she has taught me not to rely on conventional medicine and to seek out the truth about nutrition and health. Thanks to the vast amount of information that can be found on the internet today, as well as in books and telesemenars, etc… and to great educators like Mike Adams, Dr. Mercola, Dr. D, Byron Richards, Gabriel Cousens, Brian and Anna Maria Clement, T. Colin Campbell, Dean Ornish, Brenda Cobb, Victoria Boutenko, etc… and yes… Kevin and Annmarie Gianni… we now know about raw food, digestive enzymes, probiotics, antioxidants, leptin and insulin resistance, etc… and can take control of our health.

Kevin…I hope your mom enjoys her raw food dinner tonight and realizes the true spirit in which it is given.. because mom’s deserve the best!!

    Here’s to mom’s everywhere!!
