Before I get into this killer butt and thighs workout…
I want to thank everyone for their comments from the last posting!
You guys are awesome. My ultimate goal it so have a show just like Donny Deutsch (but better, sorry Donny) on a major network… but in order for that to happen, I need the help of some incredible people like every one of you who are actively talking, contributing and reading this blog.
My mission and goal is to provide you with information and fun, yours is to watch, enjoy, apply and if you like it–help me spread the word.
So please tell a friend or two about this show, in case you haven’t already, and I’ll do my part by continuing to love and enjoy every minute of helping you reach whatever goals you may have!
On to the butt and thighs workout. We had a ton of fun filming this one, so check it out and do the workout this weekend, you’ll love it!
BTW: Wendi Dee and Alli and “The Girls” I gave you a shout out, so be sure to listen up…
Your question of the day: What body part or area do you want us to focus on next week?
I have plenty of exercises and workouts, but I’d love to know what you want…
Click here and scroll down to the bottom of the page to leave your comment!
Live Awesome!
Kevin
PS. I have some special shows planned for next week, so clear your calendars (or at least 5 minutes from them every day
) I also am starting a program call the Renegade Roundtable. It starts next week. I will have a health expert on board every first and third Wednesday of the month–teleseminar/webinar style.
You will be able to ask the expert questions beforehand and they’ll be addressed during the call. The calls will be free for 24 hours after they’re broadcast, similar to the Summit model I’ve done in the past and then for a small fee ($10) you can get the download and transcript.
I’m really thrilled to be able to provide this for you, so please stay tuned for a special announcement next week!

How about some exercises for reducing upper back pain, or at least strengthening the area so that one set of muscles doesn’t end up choking out the others? I know that’s a bit unusual, but I have an unusual situation…I’m in my 20s and because I am a professional flute player I practice for hours every day. So, I end up with really tense shoulders and neck muscles all the time, and stress only makes it worse.
Either that, or…what do you suppose are some of the best strength training exercises for runners? I recently got interested in running, and I’ll be doing my first half marathon soon.

I would like some sit ups exercise with out getting the painful neck at the end, it might be I need to focus on my stomach rather than the neck area if you know what I mean!
With regards to making money in the health industry- I can’t see what the problem as long as you are doing it professionally and ethically you as a professional need to make a living somehow.
Isn’t that why people have knowledge and expertise in the health industry to help others!
I hope that made sense!
keep up the great work

hi kevin, love your show every day – but i especially like the cooking shows. i made the collard vegetable wraps yesterday and they were delicious. the collard leaves were a wonderful dark green color after the 5 second “bath” they took and so easy to work with. i will make these all the time now. and the raw tahini sauce was delicious — didn’t have the agave, but tasted fine without it. i work at trader joes and they carry agave now — so i’ll get some this week.
thanks, mary ps i can’t do the spider walk (yet) i’m 52 and slightly overweight — but i’ll keep trying!

Thanks… I am always getting in a rut with which exercise to do each day. Will try these new ones as soon as I type this! I also want to say thanks for your show. My daughter and I are new to this raw world and we are being internet-educated by people like you, Mercola and the Health Ranger!

I loved your video on you shouldn’t do an exercise you don’t like. I love hiking too but I have a slight problem in that it’s hard to do that living in Colorado in the winter. I own a hotel and it’s hard to get away and do what I really like to do which is to be outside. I love working out to feel good all around, so when I can’t get out I workout to Billy Blanks Bootcamp kickboxing video. I need a new one an am wondering if there’s ones that are more preferable than others. I like fast paced high energy that incorporates body toning too.

Kevin, I just want to say that you are so funny! I love how you make me laugh out loud with every single video. You give great advice, recipes and make exercise fun. Thank you for sharing your gift with all of us.

Hi Kevin
Since going raw I’ve lost a lot of weight, and, I think some muscle mass too. Can you please recommend to me an overall workout I can do each day to cover all my major muscle groups? I really like the thigh and butt workout but I need a programme that will take approx 15-20 mins each day total! If that is possible. In particular, I’d like to build back up my arms and stomach six-pack (I wish!). Thanks and I love your blog – it is a highlight of my day to check in.
love and light

I love you, Kevin! Thanks so much for being so caring. I’ve watched your video many times, absorbing your message on a deeper level each time. It means so much to me that you took the time to reach out to someone you’ve never even met in person. What a lovely person you are. I already have my persona (she’s been around for over 20 years), but I guess it’s time to let her step forward.
Thanks, again!
I giggled so much whenever you’d be doing your little funky dance–is that the way all superheroes dance?
As for exercises, I’d love to hear about ways to keep my face and neck from showing my age. Raw foods are amazing, but is there an exercise to help with keeping a youthful face/neck, as well?
I read your message about Annmarie starting an exercise group. I think that’s an awesome idea! I hope a lot of people join the group with her. I’ll look into it after I’m done with the major life-changing things that are happening right now (which now include revealing the superhero side of myself).
Lots of love to you,
Wendi
XOXOXO

Wow, great exercise video’s!!!
For about a year now I’m trying to do a “real” chin-up and pull-up. As I’m on the edge of osteoporoses I need strong muscles, also in my upper back, to strenghten my bones. Up until now I can’t do even one without counterweight.
Do you have bodyweight exercises to improve the muscles I need for that?
Thanks for doing a great job.

Hi Kevin,
Congratulations on the success of this show! I’m really enjoying it, great stuff!
As a Holistic Health Counselor myself, I’m always really happy to find personal trainers who subscribe to a more holistic approach versus the conventional protocol of large quantitites of animal protein and hours in the gym mentality.
I love your body weight exercises but I will be honest with you… Sometimes it seems that those lucky enough to have been born natural atheletes or who have progressed to advanced athletic levels, unintentionally forget or are unaware of the plight of the beginner and those of us who were born with two left feet and have had to really work at developing a desire to exercise.
Many trainers consider body weight exercises as a beginner exercise but some of those body exercises are much too difficult for the beginner and this can be highly discouraging for someone trying to stay on a healthy path.
Take the push up for example. Even the so called “woman’s” (X|) push up of starting on your knees can be extremely difficult for the beginner. A more appropriate beginner push up would be starting on all fours, in my humble opinion, based on my personal experience.
So to get to the point, LOL I would like to see beginner versions of all of your great moves!
Thank you and much love,
Alicia

Hi Kevin
First I would like to tell you and your wife that you are doing an excellent job with your shows, you both seem like great people to know. I most appreciate the fact that you don’t “preach” vegan/raw, but that you recommend/suggest. Some other raw food based sites I have been on have the guilt factor included for free. I’m glad yours does not.
The cocoa question. I believe this should be considered a superfood disguised as a treat. So…everyday is the way. Can you tell me how much you would consider an adequate daily amt. for health benefits? My kids would love this too.
Also, do you have any exercises/stretches you could recommend to help with tight hamstrings. My son is 8, is active, and is very healthy but his hammies are very tight. I’m looking for a couple of fun moves/stretches that I could get him to do regularly. Yoga tapes aren’t making him jump for joy. It would also be great if you could have a “recipes” tab at the top (with or without video)I’m looking for raw food breakfasts other than smoothies. Thanks and keep up the great work.
