Hey everyone, just a quick note… Annmarie and I are going to Argentina on the 27th of March with our good friends Jonathan and Carrie Kraft (Identity Theft Secrets) for a well needed break from the US.
We’re all geared up to stay in Buenos Aires as well as possibly take a trip to Bariloche, if time allows. I’m also psyched to go to a Boca Juniors game!
We’ve researched some Argentine vegan and raw food restaurants or places, but we’d love to know from anyone who’s been there if there are any thoughts, ideas, or if you’re out there we’d love to meet up with you.
Please share your comments below, so we can make this a resource for those who come looking for this information after we’ve been there! Click here and scroll down to the bottom of the page to add your comment…

Kevin,
How could I forget to mention this the first time around?
You’ve GOT to try the CHIMICHURRI when in Argentina!
OMG! _BLISS_!
It’s kind of like hand-chopped pesto, but not, and runnier, and NO CHEESE… I know pinole (pine nuts) are involved… green herbs… I want the recipie SO STRONGLY!
I had a boarder, WAY back in PRE 1985… THIS is how long I have yearned to replicate the CHIMICHURRI process!…. It’s one of those SO GOOD YOU NEVER FORGET things in life!…
Anyway, this lodger of mine would make it up in a small Mason jar, once a week, storing it in the door of the fridge and using it as a condiment… Back then I would slather it on a handmade corn tortilla, or flour tortilla and think I’d gone to heaven!
PLEASE, NO WAY miss CHIMICHURRI when in Argentina!
I hope you bring back a BOMBASTIC recipie for CHIMICHURRI to share!

Susana, I LOVE Chimichuri sauce. I have friends who are argentine and when I was eating meat regularly would douse it with chimichurri
I’ll see what I can come up with for a raw one!

How hard would it be to drive Argentina from TX? We are in our 30s, two women, what do you think? We do not have much camping experience or car experience? Is the Pan-American Hwy. safe? Any advice will be appreciated.
