optimum health with raw food or the vegan dietI’m down in Orlando in a hotel room as I write this. The weather is a little cold for Florida, but it feels like a summer day for a northeasterner like me.

I’ll be taking a flight back to Connecticut in a few hours, but I wanted to post before I packed up my bags and headed off…

It’s been an amazing few days and I’ll tell you why. (And be very candid about it)

For the last few months, I’ve really been struggling with my focus.

I’ve provided health information to an incredibly large number of people last year… over 25,000 have listened it to my teleseminars and get our newsletter on a weekly basis.

It’s been growth that I was certainly ready for, but it’s much different than seeing 5-8 clients a day as a trainer and health coach like I used to. ;-)

So here’s where my struggle has been.

I haven’t been as true to my core identity as I want to be.

You probably want to know what that means, right? :-)

It means that I’ve been so caught up in providing information, that I haven’t taken care of myself like I usually do. Now, I will assure you that “not taking care of myself” is not the usual beer-and-pizza binge like most people would associate it with… It means not getting away from work and maybe indulging on a container of raw cashew “ice” cream.

But even more serious, I haven’t spent as much time relaxing, or spending it with Annmarie. And I also haven’t spent much time planning and visualizing what my future in the health industry will be… which I think is a grave mistake.

This event has given me some clarity that I desperately needed. It also opened up my mind to new ways to communicate with you, my fan and reader–who I’m incredibly grateful for. (Thank you!)

Being able to creatively help you with your health issues or just provide insight as to why we live this lifestyle of optimum health or vegan or raw food or anything else excites me to no end. At my core I’m a provider and I’ve always felt my best when I’m doing that service to others.

Over the last three days, since I’ve had time to reflect, I’ve been thinking about what healthy really means to me. It’s been eye-opening to say the least.

Why do I decide to eat some of the healthiest foods on the planet? Why do I eat a primarily vegan and raw diet? Why do I keep pushing to provide information when some people would have quit a long time ago?

I’m not going to give you a long diatribe here–this may already be long enough–but I do want to give you in a few sentences what I feel is what healthy means to me and I’d love to know what it means to you. I think this is an incredible way to open up communication so we–as a team–can live the amazing lives we were destined to and I can help provide you with the information or inspiration that you truly need. (I have the chills writing this :-) )

So here goes…

Health to me is waking up energized to be able to accomplish anything I wish.

Health is being able to answer questions that will make me a better person–without reluctance or playing small.

Health is a lifestyle not something that you get or achieve.

Health is being flexible–in mind and body.

Health is the ability to enjoy adventure.

Health at its true core is a means to live a life worth writing about in books.

This is what being healthy means to me at a very base level. Just making this clear in my own head has sprouted some amazing new ideas and plans for the future (and yours too)… all that are completely congruent with who I am. My lifestyle hasn’t exactly reflected these values recently and now I’m excited to get back on track.

I’d love for you to answer this same question for yourself, I think you’ll find it of incredible value.

“What does health really (…really) mean to you?”

Go ahead and answer it now… if you’d like, please share it here with the other “health renegades” by clicking here and scrolling down to the bottom of the page.

Live Awesome!
Kevin

Health is being who I truly am, without physical, mental, emotional dis-ease getting in the way.

Health is what I’m now wading in, but someday will be fully swimming in!

Eating a raw food diet has brought me to the path of health–and what a beautiful path it is!

Lots of love to you, always, Kevin. Thanks so much for sharing with us.

I think it’s unrealistic to think that you will always remain so focused on your vision, your relationships and your life. As beings, we get distracted. That’s part of our essential nature. At least you realized it!

To mis-quote Jack La Lanne, “Heath is where everything comes from.”

Great post! To me health means (since I have been “experiencing” hypothyroidism) being clear minded enough to focus, visualize, and accomplish my goals! My life is fantastic! Question: If I am taking digestive enzymes with my meals, and I am still experiencing some bloating and gas…what is going on?

Health is important to live well, But it is not all. You need to live in harmony with yourself and it means harmony between your physical, your emotions and intellect, and with your spirit. (Sorry english is not my nativ langage but I’m sure you understand my thinking). I feel you don’t reflect this point in your note.

The closest in your list is “Health is a lifestyle not something that you get or achieve.”

Sometimes we have to shift focus temporarily to successfully accomplish a worthwhile endeavor, (that meets your standards), which I think you’ve done with the teleseminars, etc. You have a clear idea of what health means to you & I don’t think a momentary deviation from the path will set you in a different direction. Give yourself a break.:)

Good Health to me is having energy and vitality to do all the tasks at hand and more.
Rather than being just too tired to do things that you would like to get done in a day.
Good Health is such a good feeling of doing the best I can do for myself.
Good Health enables one to help and do for others. Be of Service.
Good Health includes not only a vibrant healthy body but also the mental and emotional bodies,( healthy thoughts and feelings)
Good Health raises one’s consciouness and vibration.
and finally Good Health is being free of fear of sickness and death.

I have taken the last three years to continually learn and practice “taking control of my own health” It has been a slow steady process with rewards at every step along the way.
Today what HEALTH means to me is:

      1. All of the things Kevin talked about in his article PLUS:
      2. Being healthy has made me a better person. I am more caring and kind than I have ever been in my life.
      3. I see “good” in people, I am more aware of goodness and I see it everywhere but mostly in the people that I meet at the local markets and health food stores.
      4. I appreciate the great “healers” and “teachers” that I read, specifically but not limited too Mike Adams, Jon Barron, Joe Mercola and of course Kevin. These people give of themselves and their major reward is not money but satisfaction.
      5. My burning ambition is to somehow join this group of “Healers’ and contribute.

Health — to me — is a life of balance: balance in body, mind, spirit; and balance of work, play, and love. Most importantly, knowing when to make corrections to my auto-pilot to achieve that balance.

good thoughts Sir Awsome !! Your six points are right on the mark-
as far as they go. For me a healthy body is very important – without that life ‘ain’t worth the living’ as they say. But I truly believe it needs to go beyond that to a holistic approach – cause the healthiest body in the world won’t create joy and happiness for its owner all by itself.
Without a ‘healthy’ mind fed a ‘diet’ which leads to positive thinking, and without a healthy spirit to motivate that mind to even higher awareness of our ‘realities’ we aren’t that far away from the vegetables we eat . (preferably raw..jaja)
A balanced approach to ‘living the good life’ is where its at seems to me. A unbalanced (sick) state of mind, spirit or body doesn’t make for a ‘happy camper’ situation for anyone..
Which is why all the politicians talking about Universal Health Coverage is so beside the point. Obesity doesn’t need Doctors & medical treatments – it needs education re the realities of who we are in the scheme of things.
I like what David Rain says- we are all ‘potentialists’ -we have wonderful potential to become ‘balanced’ beings and know the joy of living that good life Scot Nearing spoke of so many years ago.

so here’s to it..we can ALL do it !!! rick

i feel so worn down lately-i want to share my spontaneous thoughts on what health means to me:
      health means harmony with nature
health means feeling the natural rythms of my body daily
health means clear thoughts and easiness with decision making
health means feeling alive every moment
health is generous, balanced, and wealthy
      health is love and beauty
      ultimatley it is our design

      Hi Kevin,

You are so right – optimum health is a lifestyle. You can’t take the seemingly easy way out and pop a pill and not get exercise or rest and expect to wakeup full of energy – yet people do.

As I was reading this post, it occured to me that a healthy lifestyle involves actually living and enjoying every moment.

Good food is enjoyable. Packaged food is a function.

Rest is enjoyable, and so is taking time to spend with people close to you, and work that you enjoy, and even exercise can be enjoyable.

It’s all about setting your priorties and boundries for your life, and sticking to it as much as possible.

Another word that comes to mind is integrity.
      And you’ve got it.

Thanks for a great though provoking post. This will be an interesting path. My work is in life balance, and I’m looking forward to reading more from you on life balance and health.

What does health really (really) mean to me? I think this is a truly fantastic question! I am very excited that you asked it and that I have the opportunity to respond…

As a Health Education teacher, quite honestly, health is my life. Health is something that I feel passionately about and it is something that I am talking about and discussing constantly. I love being able to interact with people in regards to their personal health and wellbeing and by doing so it often provides me with the opportunity to reflect upon my own health, behaviors, and lifestyle. In my experience, people are desperate for information, especially information on Health & Wellness, and on living an Optimal Life…and it is magnificent to be a part of that.

So here is what Health means to me:

Health is Balance. Finding your mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, and social equilibrium. By focusing and prioritizing on the areas of your life that TRULY need attention and not just feeding those areas are the quick, easy “fix.” To be Healthy means that we turn our attention internally and listen, really listen, to the messages that our body & mind are sending to us. Its seems that so often are bodies are screaming at us, begging us to address what really needs to be addressed, yet those screams many times fall on deaf ears.

By seeking Balance in your life…across all areas of your life…you will find Health. Health is not a means to an end, it is a process. You cannot just magically “arrive” at Health, although many times we try to convince ourselves that we can…if I only lose those extra pounds, or quit smoking, or drink less alcohol, then I will be healthy…and while YES those changes may be helpful there is a much deeper connection and commitment that needs to be made with our selves. Balance is not easily achieved but with practice it can be mastered.

Much like the waves and the tides, our lives are constantly changing. We are fluid, living creatures and that movement is a beautiful gift. As the various aspects of our lives change, we must also change. Balance and equilibrium therefore are constantly changing as well…and each new day brings forth new challenges. Health is being flexible enough to meet these new challenges to create Balance. With Balance comes Harmony and Happiness, which are the cornerstones of a Healthy Life!

Thank you again Kevin for giving me the opportunity to reflect and share my thoughts. I hope that everyone is able to find the inner strength needed to find Balance today! And remember…it is a process, so take it one day at a time, if you can find Balance today, it will be that much easier to find it again tomorrow!

      Health to me is:
feeling good with plenty of energy
losing extra pounds to lessen the load on knees and feet
being able to fight off infections, flu and allergies
      clearing toxins
      gaining back mental abilities
      staying out of doctors offices
      looking younger instead of older
      gaining confidence
improving skin after years and years of suntanning–loved it–have had melonomas to prove it
      being free of heartburn
Kevin, thank you so much for your seminar. I have my blender up and running and am enjoying smoothies and healthier food. My husband had surgery the other day and while we were waiting for him to be taken in, there were three other patients talking to their nurses complaining of heartburn and migraines that could be so easily cured by eating correctly. Most of us know what to do. It is a matter of getting the right focus and having people like you who can push us further in gaining our health. God bless you and all the other people like you.
Best of health to us all

      Hi Kevin,

First, health is a lifestyle choice, not something you “do.” To me, this lifestyle choice means being able to get up at 4:45 am to work out BEFORE getting the kids going and off to school by 7:30. Health is being able to do this 5 days each week even when I know I’m not getting enough sleep (a challenge). Health is being able to take my 13 year old son to the gym 3 nights each week and work out with him as well.

Health is being able to jump on the trampoline for a long time with my kids. Health is playing football with my son at the park on a BEAUTIFUL Saturday morning for nearly 2 hours and not being exhausted.

Health is KNOWING that I can be a participatory dad in the lives of my son and daughter instead of a “bench” parent who just sits and watches the years go by.

Health is knowing that the only real solution to the healthcare crisis in this country is to MANDATE HEALTH into everyones lives NOT mandatory health insurance and higher taxes.

And Health is having a mind that functions clearly (most of the time) and a mind that is clear from the effects of poor food, poor drink and poor living.

      Hey Kevin!

I love what you’ve written – I’ve substituted out health for significance and success in my version of the credo you’ve posted – as for me, health is part of that picture. So mine reads like this…

Significance and success is waking up energized to be able to accomplish anything I wish.

Significance and success is being able to answer questions that will make me a better person–without reluctance or playing small.

Significance and success is a lifestyle, not something that you get or achieve.

Significance and success is being flexible–in mind and body.

Significance and success is the ability to enjoy adventure.

Significance and success, at its true core is a means to live a life worth writing about in books.

Thanks so much for posting this Kevin!

Vibrant Health includes inner peace, positive attitude, physical well-being, emotional balance, and eating high, high quality nutrition, and feeling an inner joy every day. It is a lifelong work, as you note, Kevin!
At 60, I feel more of all these qualities than I did at 40 – and I love to share with others what has worked for me.
It does come down to choices every minute, and lifestyle.

Thanks, Kevin, for the post. Health is definitely a larger picture than just the physical body. Here are my thoughts on what health is:
      1. I want to be healthy and alive and this desire is actually the source of one’s health
      2. I know that my choices determine how healthy I will be
      3. I must face all aspects of my life fully and without hesitation, avoidance or superstition
      4. Every human being experiences the same aspects of life and death
      5. I want to be healthy and alive so that I may freely participate in the bigger part of life and give to the creative process.

      Hi Kevin,
Pure health means pure joy of life to me! To know you are doing what you need to do for your mind, body and soul. Yes, it is a lifestyle. I remember what not having joy was. I shudder when I think what could have been and what is now. I have many friends that are struggling with dis-eased bodies that are affecting every facet of their lives.
The reason I became a Certified Health Coach is because I am trying to reach out and teach people about what a healthy lifestyle is all about. It doesn’t mean you will never be sick. It does mean nurturing your body, mind and soul so it can continue in a giving spirit. You aren’t ‘tied up’ in your dis-ease to the exclusion of life. I am still evolving, probably always will be. That keeps me grounded, just like everyone else who is in this human race. Say, I wonder where we are all racing to?
      Have a Joyful Day

Hello, I have been tired and have had a headache for 7 months. I have been to every doctor and the only thing that is coming up is Lyme’s Disease. I don’t eat raw but I really try to make the best choices for the normal person, tons of salads, water with meal, not a lot of red meat, taking fish oil, I take a vitamin, I am doing colonics, but I still don’t feel that great, what’s worse I am bored with everything in my current life. I wrote a book. I need enormous amounts of energy to promote it and I don’t have the energy. I worked so hard and now when it’s time to do another update, I want to in my mind, but me and my body just want to watch “good tv”. I do things, but nothing like the marketing plan on the wall. :( . Hi Kevin,
I have a question. I am wondering if I could let your readers know that I have created a Yahoo group for Health and Lifestyle Coaches. I wanted a place for professionals in this field of endeavor to go to share, be educated, meet other like minded souls and enlighten and empower each other. If someone is new in the field, like me, they could meet others. Quite frankly, I don’t know another Health Coach, especially in my neck of the woods. I just started it a couple of days ago. Would you be willing to take a look at it and maybe comment on it? I would really love it if you would join and be a part of the commuity. I am advertising it through social networking, but I am not sure where else to let others know. I like your philosphies of life and I would be very honored and excited if you would give me your thoughts ideas and suggestions. I don’t know how to get this message to you any other way. Hope you don’t mind. If you don’t think this is appropriate, just contact me through my email. Thank you so much for the opportunity and thanks for being here.

Great comments about clarifying “health” Kevin!

Exactly, to boil it down a little futher, I’d say that health = freedom, the freedom to feel like our true selves, the freedom to be open to people and opportunities…to change…to grow. Serenity and laughter are both signs of health….different faces of it, but definately signs.

      Hi Kevin,

What does health mean to me?

I’m a mother of three children, one of which has recovered from autism and that experience opened my eyes in such a way that it forever changed my life, which leads me to your
question…What does health mean to me?

*Living a life free of fear of the unknown

*Taking control of my family’s health,
(We have not seen a doctor in 5 years)

      *Striving for optimal health everyday

*Taking pleasure in the simple things in life that matter the most…friends, family, love, health, laughter, peace, appreciation,
good food, water, living close to nature-outdoors, living a green organic life

*Understanding that our actions do matter and we all need to do what is best for the environment

*Do and live what you believe, speak you thoughts and help make changes acceptable

      *Having a positive attitude

Kevin, I want to thank you for doing such a great job on the Raw Summit 1. I have been reading your stuff ever since and you have helped me make some wonderful changes that have made a big impact in my life. Thanks and keep up the good work!

      Kevin,

Great post! I couldn’t agree with you more. Good health is a mixture of so many different things such as good food, fresh air, sunshine, exercise, and doing some emotional house cleaning from time to time.

Good health is the result of putting your best foot forward to do the best you can in all areas of your life, and making that your life’s mission.

Good health is balancing all of these different things out everyday so you are actually living your vision of what you want for yourself.

Good health is realizing I will never know everything about this subject, and enjoy the endless quest for learning more.

Vibrant health (for me) is cleaning my body, mind, and spirit to the point of clearly being able to hear the Universe guiding me to do what I was put here to do with joy, peace, and centeredness. While cluttered with poor food, alcohol, poor relationship choices, etc. I have been living in confusion, pain, and fear. Since starting on the path of vibrant health, I am now able to hear the guidance that was there all along, truly feel that I’m NOT all alone, and that ‘all of this’ is okay. It is not a particularly fast process and I still have a way to go, but I now look forward to the journey rather than dreading it. And I sometimes lose my focus as well. We may be perfect in Spirit form, but as humans, well… (<: And THAT’S okay too! Kevin, you’re doing just fine, for yourself and the tons of people you touch. Keep up the good work! Pat Fox

      Hi Kevin

Your article strongly resonated with me — especially the parts about not taking adequate time off and also your health requirements taking second place.

I have undergone massive changes in my business over the last few months and I know I was not a priority for me.

      So health for me is:
getting what I need for my spiritual, emotional, physical, relational and financial well-being.
It is making sure that I look after myself more responsibly — in other words, do to myself what I coach others to do!

      Best wishes to you

feeling peaceful enough to slip into meditation for hours and hours – to drink the nectar of the prana and dwell in the stillness…
health to me means feeling the love and light in each and every human being…
health to me means feeling a loving and light connection with the food i consume…
health to me means be wise and patient in my food and drink choices…
health to me means having a clean colon…
health to me means jumping, dancing, singing, laughing, swimming, stretching, walking, snuggling
health to me means being grateful for every moment of life – no matter what the small mind comes up with to complain about…

      love,
      paula

Good health to me is living without pain and not having to take any medications. Being constantly in a good mood and enjoying every day. Eating raw food and loving it. Thanks for all your sharing. Ann

      Thanks for sharing Kevin;

It is true Kevin that we can be so taken up with helping other people we fail to help ourselves..I talk from experience..prior to ending up in a wheelchair I was in the ministry for 10 years being on call for 24 hours a day
seven days a week for 10 years and because I was emotionally and physically drained it affected my entire body putting me in a wheelchair for three months and given two months to live..it took me three years to allow my body to heal itself and now 10 years later I value my health and know now how to priortize my responsibilities..if each of us takes care of ourselves first then and only then we can share with others..Kevin take care of yourself first, then you can be what you ought to be to Annmarie and then to others..health to me is waking up each morning and giving thanks that I can see,I can hear,I still have my memory,I have a job to go to and have the health to do it and I can WALK..to me each day is a gift given to me and I want to value it by making choices to allow myself to be healthy physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually..Helen

      Thank you Kevin
Good health to me is knowing I can and will be here to enjoy my children and their children. I love being a grandmother!
Good health means I have the energy to help my family and to help others.
I am just learning and look forward to the day when I will have the knowledge to make a difference in the lives of others.

Being healthy is resting, slowing down, eating mostly simply raw, walking, swimming in the ocean and listening to the whales sing (it is whale season in Maui now), sharing love and appreciation with old friends and new friends, getting rid of excess “things”, having time to appreciate and enjoy life. I think of the song by Simon and Garfunkle with the words, “slow down you move too fast, got to make the moment last, just kickin round cobblestones, looking for fun and feelin’ groovy” (paraphrased). Aloha. Rosemary

      Kevin,
I love what you said, it sums up my reason for eating raw to a T, even though the the laughter bubbling up from deep within, and the sparkling emotion & energy is understated. I dont know you personally, but I truly love you for what you do.

I am only 16 and this is what I see:)

If one is the wind, instead of blowing, glide.
If one is the river, instead of rushing, drift.
If one is the land, instead of heaping, open.
If one is the flame, instead of burning, enlighten.

With love one accomplishes and is apart of everything.

Live with the eyes of all, so that your own eyes may be clear to see from.

Many Blissful Blessings to you, Kevin, and All The World.

      Hi Kevin,
I’m so glad you shared what was going on in your mind. I too have been struggling with the “why” because of the stress I feel at times with my family. I am the odd ball in the bunch and my new lifestyle of raw food has become a real division between me and my husband. Though I am happier in my spirit and certainly feel better in my body, I am sad that he was not able to grow with me in this new way of living. Thanks for your encouragment. Leah Finnie

Health is to be what humans were intended to be. The common sense to know that when humans came to “be”, we only had good, pure, and fresh foods to survive on. We weren’t intended to consume processed foods. To do so is to allow something foreign to enter one’s body.
Health is to know that the human body was intended to be active. We were designed to be self-sufficient and actively seek out fuel for survival.
Finally, we are healthy when we live in harmony with our environment and inspire others by example to do the same. Thank you Kevin for endeavoring to spread the word.

Healthy means I have mental and physical alertness.
Healthy means I have the ability and desire to keep learning and trying new things.
Healthy means that if I can’t do something it has nothing to do with age. It just means I can’t do it.

I like to think health without limits…filled with.infinite possibilities. Optimal health sort of signifies a sort of limit. A positive upper limit perhaps but something that sort of put me in a mind set of something to achieve. I like to experience health as a never ending process. No matter how well I feel there is always something else I can do to reach even higher.

When I think of health I think of creatively and aliveness. I think of being calm and confident. I think of balance between mind, body and spirit. I think of colorful fresh fruits and vegetable. Being out doors in the fresh air and sunlight. Moving and dancing. There’s a lightness both within my own mind as well as my body and with the rest of the world around me.

Our western society defines health as not being sick. And that’s it! The possibilities of unlimited health is not even a conscious thought….. ever. So many people are thinking “God, get me through this day!” And that’s it. Then you wonder why they kick the bucket the next day. How can it not be. They asked only that they get through this day and that’s what the universe handed them!!

I wish everyone unfolding health, filled with love and creative joy.

      Being healthy means…

…I have the energy and focus to accomplish my goals.
…I am excited and passionate about my life.
…I can face challenges comfortably and with a clear head.
…I can dance when I feel like dancing.
…I have enough in my nurturing storehouse to share with others and be a positive example and inspiration to them.
      …I can live my dreams.
…I will be confident and secure enough to share myself with others.
…I can speak out intelligently and sincerely about my struggles to lift others up out of theirs.
…I can smile without needing a reason – being alive and healthy is enough.
…I can feel my feelings without judgment and allow them to just to be.

      Hello Kevin:
My intention wasn’t to respond to this post in particular but I’m not sure how to go about asking a question so I though I’d do it this way. I hope it’s okay. I’ve been struggling with the idea and use of supplements. To provide a little bit of history, I’ve been eating whole foods, cooked and raw for the past three years and have seen many great and awesome changes which is when I really began to learn the effects of foods on my body. I also began to learn that alot of the changes one experiences in the beginning has more to do with the elimination of disease producing foods, and we all know what they are, than with the adoption of wholesome foods. Looking at different raw food sites, I can see right away, that there are many disagreements among raw foodists. Some say no to supplements like Dr.Doug Graham and to some extent Frederic Patenaude. I also began to wonder what they mean by ’supplements.’ Is it anything in a glass bottle that’s been powdered even though, supposedly it’s marketed as a WHOLE FOOD supplement? And if it’s labeled ‘whole food’, does it really make it a whole food? David Wolfe as well as Shazzie, sell many products that are SUPERFOODS in powdered form sold in glass bottles or different packages, but are these products supplements–processed and manufactured like other vitamins and minerals? I’m struggling with the idea of whole foods and what constitutes a whole food. It all started when I came across an interview with you and Dr.Doug Graham. According to him, vegetables and fruits, nuts and seeds are whole foods, hemp protein for example, or any other powdered product in a bottle for that matter, isn’t whole anymore but is an isolated, empty caloric item. It really made me take a step back and question why I purchase some of the things I do. I was amazed when opening my cupboard, that I owned a wholefood multivitamin, a garden veggie product marketed as a whole food as well, a herbal tea tincture, enzymes, probiotics, spirulina, a greens product highly recommended by Mike Adams, some colon cleansing products, etc. Ă…nd I began to wonder whether I unconsciously purchase these products because I ‘lack’, because somewhere inside me, I feel that ‘I’m’ not enough, that my body can’t possibly maintain health through vegetables, fruits, nut/seeds, grains, leafy greens, etc. Bottom line, the fear word comes through. If I don’t supply myself with these products, will my health fail? And I think that’s a question we have to ask ourselves. So to make a long story short, what is your understanding of wholefoods in the raw food movement?

Fellow health seekers may like ot know about a study done over 70 years ago into the nature of health. They found that health has its own processes quite distinct from those of disease. The archives of the Peckham Experiment can be accessed at http://www.thephf.org
The researchers may not have been raw vegan but they were advocates of organic food, including raw milk and whole grains. They found that less than 10% of their research population were free from pre-disease or disease conditions. What I love about their findings is that people must be free to exercise choice in their lives in order to be healthy!
