Today there is about 6 inches of snow on the ground and it’s a perfect day for staying inside and doing nothing!
(Except for a great bodyweight exercise routine… which you’ll see in a few seconds!)
The best–and worse–thing about a snow day is that you have permission to stay inside! But if you don’t like bundling up and building snowmen, you’re going to struggle losing weight or with your exercise routine over the winter time in cold climates like here in the Northeast US.
Here is a 10-15 minute bodyweight exercise circuit routine that you can do when you’re stuck indoors and don’t want to go out in the cold… or if you’re in a warmer climate–you don’t want to get out of the AC!

So here’s the bodyweight exercise circuit in writing:
If you’re a beginner to bodyweight exercises, just start with 15 seconds and longer rest. If you’re more advanced see how many repetitions you can do in the 30 seconds and if you’re daring enough don’t take any rest between exercises, only when you start up the circuit again!
One of the benefits of bodyweight exercises is that they cut down the collection of excuses that you have when you’re on a weight loss or health program. If you know that you can do a workout at home in 10-15 minutes, you’ve definitely expanded your fitness “toolbox” with more options. This means less excuses!
